Free eco and ethno workshops are regularly held in the Krka National Park for interested visitors.

All of them aim to introduce visitors to the rich local cultural and historical heritage and customs, as well as the traditional skills characteristic for the karst region. Through interactive participation in these workshops, visitors can learn about the way of life along the Krka River in the past and today, and learn how important it is to preserve traditional knowledge and skills.

The workshops were designed as a combination of tradition and sustainable development, so that, in addition to presenting ancient crafts and handicraft techniques, they also promote environmental awareness through the application of the 3R principle: reduce, reuse, and recycle. This education includes activities such as the workshop "Thread by Thread – To an Apron", macrame workshops, felting workshops, and the creation of usable objects from recycled materials, such as paper bags from waste paper, and handbags and hair ties from old clothes and uniforms.

With such content, the Krka National Park provides visitors with an additional experience while staying in the Park, and encourages them to actively participate in the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage and the sustainable use of resources. Special emphasis is placed on the education of children and young people, but adults also enjoy visiting the workshops, creating memories through hand-made items inspired by the tradition of the karst area.
