The Mosaic of LIFE project receives a visual attire; a recognizable identity that gives it character and a visual stamp by which, we believe, many will recognize and remember it in the years to come

We are proud of the visual project, because it not only represents the aesthetic framework of the project, but also conveys the messages we believe in: habitat restoration, preserving the balance between man and nature, and the value of traditions that shape the landscape.

The visual identity was designed as a symbolic representation of the area in which the project has been implemented, and the relationship between nature, people, and their practices. Through the Mosaic of LIFE project, we want to emphasize how people, nature, and traditions together create the mosaic nature of the landscape, and this idea is also visually represented in its logo.

The logo has been designed as a layered representation of the landscape. The bottom layer consists of fields and meadows, scorched by the sun in summer, which despite harsh conditions play an important role in the ecosystem. Next to them, the important and rich rivers of the Cetina and Krka are depicted in blue, as well as stylized halves of wells and ponds for drinking by domestic and wild animals, emphasizing their vital role for nature and humans. With the increase in altitude, and on the logo itself, a layer of a green line appears, symbolizing the fertile pastures at the foot of the mountains. Immediately above them, the mountains are shown in a neutral gray color, which symbolizes stone, stability, and the harsh karst landscape. Above all the layers is a circle that represents the sun; the source of light, warmth, and life, but also an element that connects and shapes the entire space.

With a carefully chosen visual language, we wish to convey the message of mosaicism, or a dynamic space in which agriculture, grasslands, forests, and rocky areas intertwine. This landscape is not merely a natural space, but also the result of a long-term coexistence of man and nature. In this context, herders and farmers are the guardians of the landscape, and their knowledge, work, and traditional practices, such as grazing, are the key to preserving grasslands, preventing overgrowth, and creating conditions for the return of birds and their nesting, as a symbol of renewal and balance.

We believe that with the visual identity of the project, the values are reflected of preserving biodiversity, grasslands, and birds, and the importance of diversity within the Mediterranean mosaic landscape that forms the identity of this area.

The visual identity of the Mosaic of LIFE project was designed by Mićo Samardžija from the Job&Fun studio in Knin. By choosing a local artist, we wished to strongly support local entrepreneurs and creative individuals, and further emphasize the project's roots in the area, people, and landscape that are its essence.
