[hr]Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c ugostila je u\u010denike \u0161est osnovnih \u0161kola \u0160ibensko-kninske \u017eupanije. U\u010denici su upoznali prirodne vrijednosti Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c, a odr\u017eana je i edukativna radionica na temu suzbijanja invazivne vrste pajasen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

U sklopu projekta Regionalni znanstveni centar RaSTEM, u organizaciji Grada \u0160ibenika, u\u010denici osnovnih \u0161kola Vrpolje, Brodarica, Jurja \u0160i\u017egori\u0107a, Jurja Dalmatinca i Meterize te podru\u010dnih \u0161kola Skradin i Murterski \u0161koji posjetili su Eko kampus \u201eKrka\u201c u Puljanima, gdje su na terenskoj nastavi upoznali bioraznolikost Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c, odnosno njegov iznimno bogat biljni i \u017eivotinjski svijet.<\/p>\n

U\u010denicima predmetne nastave u fokusu je bila tema klimatskih promjena, koju su razmatrali na primjeru invazivne biljne vrste pajasen. Uz stru\u010dno vo\u0111enje kroz prirodoslovnu zbirku Hram prirode i Laboratorij prirode, detaljno su upoznali utjecaj koji biljka pajasen ima na autohtone vrste i stani\u0161ta i metode sprje\u010davanja njezina \u0161irenja u NP \u201eKrka\u201c. Prezentirani su im ciljevi projekta \u201eLIFE CONTRA Ailanthus\u201c i aktivnosti koje su u sklopu toga projekta provedene na podru\u010dju Parka, a demonstrirane su im i razli\u010dite metode uklanjanja pajasena.<\/p>\n

U organizaciji JU \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c i Zavoda za za\u0161titu okoli\u0161a i prirode Ministarstva gospodarstva i odr\u017eivog razvoja, u okviru projekta \u201eLIFE CONTRA Ailanthus\u201c u Eko kampusu \u201eKrka\u201c 20. velja\u010de odr\u017ean je i radni sastanak monitora projekta i projektnih partnera, na kojem su revidirane dosada\u0161nje i potvr\u0111ene budu\u0107e aktivnosti, s naglaskom na monitoring ciljnih stani\u0161nih tipova i uklanjanje novih izbojaka pajasena na podru\u010dju obuhva\u0107enom projektom. Sudionici sastanka tako\u0111er, su uz stru\u010dno vo\u0111enje, obi\u0161li prirodoslovnu zbirku Hram prirode, Laboratorij prirode i Arheolo\u0161ku zbirku Burnum.<\/p>\n

O\u010dekivani glavni rezultati projekta \u201eLIFE CONTRA Ailanthus\u201c jesu razvoj nacionalnog protokola, pobolj\u0161anje statusa o\u010duvanja Natura 2000 stani\u0161nih tipova, o\u010duvanje kulturne ba\u0161tine i sprje\u010davanje daljnjeg \u0161irenja te invazivne strane vrste. Zbog negativnih utjecaja na bioraznolikost, gospodarstvo i zdravlje ljudi, pajasen se nalazi na popisu invazivnih stranih vrsta koje izazivaju zabrinutost u Europskoj uniji.<\/p>\n

\nIn February, the Krka Eco Campus was the centre of education on practices to combat the invasive Tree of Heaven<\/strong>
\nThe Public Institute of Krka National Park hosted the pupils of six primary schools from \u0160ibenik-Knin County who learned about the natural values of Krka National Park, and attended an educational workshop on the topic of combatting the spread of the invasive species Tree of Heaven.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of the project of the Regional Scientific Centre RaSTEM, and organised by the City of \u0160ibenik, pupils of the primary schools in Vrpolje, Brodarica, Juraj \u0160i\u017egori\u0107, Juraj Dalmatinac and Meterize and the district schools Skradin and Murterski \u0161koji paid a visit to the Krka Eco Campus in Puljane. There they took part in a field class to learn more about the biodiversity of Krka National Park and the exceptional wealth of plant and animal species in the park.<\/p>\n

The pupils learned about climate change, focusing on the example of the invasive plant species, Tree of Heaven. They enjoyed a guided tour of the natural history collection at the Temple of Nature museum and the Nature Laboratory, and were familiarised with the impacts that the Tree of Heaven has on the native plant species, and learned methods on how its spread is prevented in Krka National Park. The goals of the project \u201cLIFE CONTRA Ailanthus\u201d were presented, and the project activities in the park outlined, with demonstrations of various methods of removing Tree of Heaven.<\/p>\n

On 20 February, a work meeting of monitor project and project partners within the project \u201cLIFE CONTRA Ailanthus\u201d was held at the Krka Eco Campus, co-organised by the Public Institute of Krka National Park and the Department for Environmental and Nature Protection of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The aim of the meeting was to review the activities implemented to date and discuss future activities, with an emphasis on monitoring the target habitat types, and removal of new shoots of Tree of Heaven in the project area. Participants in the meeting also received a guided tour of the natural history collection at the Temple of Nature museum, Nature Laboratory, and the Burnum Archaeological Collection.<\/p>\n

The expected main results of the project \u201cLIFE CONTRA Ailanthus\u201d is the development of a national protocol, improvement of the conservation status of Natura 2000 habitat types, preserving the cultural heritage, and preventing the further spread of this invasive species. Due to its negative impacts on biodiversity, the economy, and human health, the Tree of Heaven is included on the list of invasive alien species of concern in the European Union.<\/p>\n
