Gr\u010dka poslovica ka\u017ee: Zemlja \u0107e procvjetati kad stari ljudi po\u010dnu saditi drve\u0107e znaju\u0107i da se u njegovu hladu nikada ne\u0107e odmarati.<\/em> Zato ima puno simbolike u sadnji murve u dvori\u0161tu Dje\u010djeg vrti\u0107a Skradin.<\/p>\n U povodu nominacije murve na Skradinskom buku za Hrvatsko stablo godine, Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c skradinskom je vrti\u0107u darovala pet sadnica murve, drva kojim je skradinska povijest sna\u017eno pro\u017eeta. Osim sadnica, djeci je poklonila i pet ku\u0107ica za ptice da ih prije nadolaze\u0107e zime postave na stabla. Djelatnice JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c za djecu su tom prigodom odr\u017eale i program iz \u0160umske radionice.<\/p>\n Ove se godine Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c uklju\u010dila u akciju \u201eRastemo zajedno\u201c, koja se provodi u sklopu europske inicijative za sadnju tri milijarde stabala do 2030. godine. Tim povodom na Praznik rada lokalnom stanovni\u0161tvu podijeljene su sadnice autohtonih vrsta planike i lovora. Ovo je svojevrstan nastavak te akcije, ali i edukacija djece o zajedni\u010dkoj tradiciji i prepoznatljivim slikama na\u0161eg krajobraza.<\/p>\n \u201eDarivanje sadnica murve i ku\u0107ica za ptice \u017eelimo inspirirati i educirati djecu u Dje\u010djem vrti\u0107u Skradin. Neka ta stabla i ku\u0107ice budu simbol zajedni\u0161tva, brige za prirodu i budu\u0107nost koju gradimo zajedno. Ova inicijativa dio je europskog projekta zahvaljuju\u0107i kojemu \u0107e se do 2030. godine posaditi tri milijarde stabala, a mi smo odlu\u010dili podr\u017eati napore za o\u010duvanje na\u0161e prirodne ba\u0161tine<\/strong>\u201c, istaknula je ravnateljica JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c Nella Slavica.<\/p>\n Za murvu ili dud Vergilije je rekao da je najpametnija biljka, koja, \u010dekaju\u0107i toplo vrijeme, zadnja procvjeta. Njezini su plodovi ukusni i ljekoviti, a li\u0161\u0107e hrana za dudova prelca (Bombyx mory<\/em>), leptira koji se jo\u0161 naziva i dudov svilac ili svilena buba jer se iz njegove \u010dahure dobivaju svilena vlakna. Iz Kine i Japana dudov prelac doputovao je Putom svile<\/em> i do na\u0161ih krajeva.<\/p>\n Pri\u010du o svilenoj pro\u0161losti i slatkoj sada\u0161njosti ovoga kraja pri\u010da i dud na Skradinskom buku, \u010dija je starost procijenjena na oko \u010detiristo godina. Kako nam kazuje don Krsto Sto\u0161i\u0107, upravo se u Skradinu u prvoj polovici 19. stolje\u0107a nalazilo najve\u0107e uzgajali\u0161te svilene bube u Dalmaciji: tridesetih godina 19. st. Skradin je, uz Rab, bio najve\u0107i proizvo\u0111a\u010d \u010dahura dudova prelca u Dalmaciji. Do \u0161ezdesetih godina 19. st. proizvodnja svilenih \u010dahura u Dalmaciji rasla je, no s pojavom bolesti duda (murve) naglo je pala. Po\u010detkom 20. st. Skradin je bio jedino mjesto u Dalmaciji u kojemu su se proizvodile \u010dahure i svila.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/hr]<\/p>\n [en] A Greek proverb says: The earth will blossom when old people start planting trees knowing that they will never rest in their shade<\/em>. That is why there is much symbolism in the planting of mulberry trees, a tree strongly intermingled with Skradin’s history, in the yard of the Skradin Kindergarten.<\/p>\n The Krka National Park donated five mulberry seedlings to the kindergarten on the occasion of the nomination of the mulberry tree at Skradinski buk waterfall for the Croatian Tree of the Year. In addition to the seedlings, we also gave the children five birdhouses to place on the planted trees before the coming winter, and the Krka National Park employees suggested appropriate activities for the children from the Forest Workshop.<\/p>\n This year, the Krka National Park joined the action “Grow together”, which has been implemented as part of the European initiative to plant three billion trees by 2030. On that occasion, saplings of autochthonous arbutus (planika<\/em>) and laurel species were distributed to the local population on Labor Day. This represents both a continuation of that action, but also the education of children about the common traditions and recognizable images of our landscape.<\/p>\n “Through the donation of mulberry seedlings and birdhouses, we want to educate and inspire children at the Skradin Kindergarten. Let these trees and houses be a symbol of togetherness, caring for nature, and the future we are building together. This initiative is part of the European project to plant three billion trees by 2030, and we have decided to support such efforts to preserve our natural heritage<\/strong>“, said the director of the Krka National Park, Nella Slavica.<\/p>\n For the mulberry, Virgil said that it is the smartest plant, as it is the last to bloom while waiting for warm weather. Its fruits are both tasty and medicinal, and the leaves are food for the mulberry moth (Bombyx mory<\/em>), a butterfly family member that is also called the mulberry silkworm because silk fibers are obtained from its cocoon. The mulberry tree travelled to our region on the Silk Road<\/em> from China and Japan.<\/p>\n The story of the silken past and the sweet present of this region is also told by the mulberry tree near the Skradinski buk waterfall, which is estimated to be around four hundred years old. As Don Krsto Sto\u0161i\u0107 tells us, in the first half of the 19th<\/sup> century, Skradin was home to the largest silkworm breeding site in Dalmatia: in the thirties of the 19th<\/sup> century, Skradin, along with Rab, was the largest producer of mulberry silkworm cocoons in Dalmatia. Up to the 1860s, the production of silk cocoons in Dalmatia grew, but with the appearance of the mulberry tree disease, it fell sharply.
