[hr]Prvi volonterski program u 2023. u NP \u201eKrka\u201c, \u010cuvar stani\u0161ta autohtonih vrsta, odr\u017ean je od 1. do 10. rujna. Program je okupio predane volontere i stru\u010dnjake, a za cilj je imao suzbijanje pajasena, invazivne strane vrste, i promicanje svijesti o o\u010duvanju prirodne ba\u0161tine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volonterski program \u010cuvar stani\u0161ta autohtonih vrsta privukao je pa\u017enju brojnih volontera i stru\u010dnjaka iz podru\u010dja za\u0161tite prirode. Oglas za sudjelovanje bio je objavljen na slu\u017ebenim mre\u017enim stranicama Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c i na stranicama posve\u0107enim volontiranju u Parkovima Hrvatske. Poziv za volontiranje upu\u0107en je i institucijama koje se bave volonterima i obrazovnim ustanovama.<\/p>\n

Volonteri su u NP \u201eKrka\u201c sudjelovali u nizu aktivnosti usmjerenih na suzbijanje pajasena, invazivne biljne vrste koja predstavlja ozbiljnu prijetnju autohtonim ekosustavima. Te su aktivnosti uklju\u010divale edukativne radionice, demonstraciju metoda uklanjanja pajasena na terenu i uklanjanje izbojaka pajasena na odre\u0111enim lokacijama u Parku.<\/p>\n

Volonteri su ulo\u017eili znatan napor u suzbijanje pajasena na tim lokacijama \u2013 na Skradinskom buku i Skradinskoj cesti, u Skradinu i Remeti\u0107u, na Ro\u0161kome slapu i u O\u0107estovu. Uklonili su na tisu\u0107e izbojaka pajasena, \u010dime su dali veliki doprinos projektu \u201eLife contra Ailanthus\u201c i op\u0107enito za\u0161titi prirode, odnosno o\u010duvanju prirodne ba\u0161tine NP \u201eKrka\u201c.<\/p>\n

Cilj toga projekta, sprje\u010davanje daljnjeg \u0161irenja pajasena i podizanje svijesti o negativnom utjecaju invazivnih vrsta, ostvaren \u00a0je zahvaljuju\u0107i predanom radu volontera, zahvaljuju\u0107i, me\u0111u ostalim, i njihovoj educiranosti o problematici invazivnih vrsta i metodama sprje\u010davanja njihova \u0161irenja.<\/p>\n

Volonteri su imali priliku posjetiti razli\u010dite lokalitete unutar Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c kako bi se dodatno educirali o invazivnim vrstama i organizaciji rada u Parku. Posjet lokalnom dobrovoljnom vatrogasnom dru\u0161tvu u Drni\u0161u i lokalnom OPG-u omogu\u0107io im je da bolje razumiju probleme vezane za za\u0161titu od po\u017eara i utjecaj invazivnih vrsta na poljoprivredu i sto\u010darstvo.<\/p>\n

Cijeli program odvijao se uz podr\u0161ku Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c, koji je volonterima osigurao smje\u0161taj i prehranu u Volonterskom centru i lokalni prijevoz. Koordinatorice volonterskih programa, Doris Bani\u0107 i Katarina Bilu\u0161i\u0107, brinule su se o tomu da sve aktivnosti budu organizirane u skladu sa Zakonom o volonterstvu. Volonteri su pro\u0161li kroz proces selekcije i obuke i bili su osigurani u slu\u010daju nezgode.<\/p>\n

Evaluacija programa pokazala je da su volontera jako zadovoljni programom, edukacijom i koordinatorima. Izrazili su i interes za nastavkom suradnje i dodatnim aktivnostima usmjerenim na za\u0161titu prirode.<\/p>\n

Nacionalni park \u201eKrka\u201c zahvaljuje volonterima koji su sudjelovali u programu \u010cuvar stani\u0161ta autohtonih vrsta, te se veseli budu\u0107im inicijativama usmjerenim na o\u010duvanje prirode i za\u0161titu autohtonih vrsta na svom prostoru.<\/p>\n

\nThis year's first volunteers at Krka National Park \u2013 indigenous species and habitat protectors<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first volunteer programme in 2023 at Krka National Park, called Indigenous Species and Habitat Protectors, was held from 1 to 10 September. The programme brought together volunteers and experts, and the aim was to combat the spread of Tree of Heaven, an invasive alien species, and to raise awareness of the need to preserve the natural heritage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The volunteer programme Indigenous Species and Habitats Protectors attracted widespread attention of volunteers and experts in the field of nature conservation. The call for participation was published on the official website of Krka National Park, and on the dedicated website for volunteering in Croatian Parks. The call for participation was also forwarded to institutions involved in volunteering and to education institutions.<\/p>\n

The volunteers participated in a range of activities in Krka National Park aimed at combatting Tree of Heaven, an invasive plant species that represents a serious threat to native ecosystems. These activities included educational workshops, demonstration of methods to remove Tree of Heaven in the field, and removal of shoots of Tree of Heaven at certain locations in the Park.<\/p>\n

The volunteers invested significant efforts in combatting this tree species at the locations Skradinski buk, on the Skradin road, in Skradin and Remeti\u0107, at Ro\u0161ki slap, and in O\u0107estovo. Thousands of shoots of Tree of Heaven were removed, thereby giving a strong contribution to the project \u201cLife Contra Ailanthus\u201d and to nature conservation in general, particularly in preserving the natural heritage of Krka National Park.<\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to prevent the further spread of Tree of Heaven and to raise awareness of the negative impacts of invasive species. This was achieved thanks to the hard work of volunteers, and thanks to their good understanding of the issues involving invasive species and methods on how to prevent their spread.<\/p>\n

Volunteers had the opportunity to visit a number of locations within Krka National Park to learn more about invasive species and how work is organised in the Park. They also visited the local volunteer fire brigade in Drni\u0161 and local family farms to get a better understanding of issues relating to fire protection and the impacts that invasive species have on agriculture and animal husbandry.<\/p>\n

The entire programme unfolded with the support of Krka National Park, which organised accommodation and meals for the volunteers in the Volunteer Centre, and local transport around the Park. The coordinators of the volunteer programmes, Doris Bani\u0107 and Katarina Bilu\u0161i\u0107, ensured that all activities were organised in line with the Volunteer Act. The volunteers passed through a selection process and training, and were insured against any accidents.<\/p>\n

Evaluation of the programme showed that the volunteers were very satisfied with the programme, education, and coordinators. They expressed their interest to continue cooperation and to take part in future conservation activities.<\/p>\n

Krka National Park thanks the volunteers who participated in the programme Indigenous Species and Habitats Protector, and looks forward to future initiatives aimed at conserving nature and protecting the indigenous species that inhabit the Park area.<\/p>\n
