Krka je voda. Zato se i sve ono najljep\u0161e oko nje ogleda u njoj i s nje najbolje promatra. Logi\u010dno je stoga bilo da sporta\u0161e koji svoje dane provode u vodi povedemo upravo na izlet brodom. Profesionalni vaterpolski klub osnovan je 1953. godine i od tada djeluje na podru\u010dju grada \u0160ibenika i Dalmacije i dugogodi\u0161nji je prvoliga\u0161 u hrvatskim natjecanjima.<\/p>\n
Izlet na kojemu smo se dru\u017eili traje dva i pol sata, uz polusatno razgledavanje manastira Krka. Potom se nastavlja uzvodno, do srednjovjekovnih utvrda Ne\u010dven i Tro\u0161enj. Zbog njihova polo\u017eaja na visokim liticama kanjona, utvrde se mogu vidjeti samo s broda. To je ujedno i kraj plovnog puta u Parku, a ozna\u010dava ga Bibi\u0107a brzac.<\/p>\n
Manastir Krka (sv. Arhan\u0111ela), duhovno sredi\u0161te pravoslavnih vjernika, nalazi se tri i pol kilometra isto\u010dno od Kistanja. Smje\u0161ten je u pitomom pro\u0161irenju rijeke Krke zvanom Carigradska draga, u sredi\u0161njem dijelu kanjona rijeke Krke, koji je po njemu dobio ime Aran\u0111elovac. Nema pouzdanih povijesnih podataka o tomu kada je manastir sagra\u0111en. U pisanim se dokumentima prvi put spominje 1402. godine. Uz manastir se nalazi crkva, sagra\u0111ena u bizantskom stilu. U novije vrijeme izgra\u0111ena je velika zgrada bogoslovije, posve\u0107ena 1989. godine. Ispod crkve nalaze se katakombe, koje su otvorene za posjetitelje. Manastir posjeduje veliku i bogatu knji\u017enicu s kodeksima, inkunabulama i rijetkim knjigama. U manastirskoj riznici \u010duvaju se vrijedne ikone i umjetni\u010dko-obrtni\u010dki predmeti od 15. do 19. st.<\/p>\n
Niti jedna od \u010detiriju rijeka u Dalmaciji nema toliko utvrda na svojim obalama koliko ih ima Krka: du\u017e \u010ditava njezina toka, od izvora do u\u0161\u0107a, nalaze se brojna utvr\u0111enja ili fortifikacije. Srednjovjekovni utvr\u0111eni gradovi \u2013 kamene utvrde \u2013 bili su u posjedu hrvatskih velika\u0161kih obitelji. Osim \u0161to su imale obrambenu funkciju, neke od tih utvrda bile su i jezgre naselja.<\/p>\n
Ne\u010dven je podignut na rubu brine na lijevoj obali Krke, tri kilometra nizvodno od slapa Miljacka. Njegovi prvi gospodari bili su Nelipi\u0107i, vlasnici \u010ditavog prominsko-miljeva\u010dkog kraja. Nekad se preko kanjona pru\u017eao drveni most koji je povezivao Ne\u010dven i Tro\u0161enj (\u010cu\u010devo). Gospodari Tro\u0161nja i cijele desne obale Krke do Skradina bili su bribirski knezovi \u0160ubi\u0107i.<\/p>\n

[en] The Krka is simply water. That is why all the most beautiful things around it are reflected in it and are best observed from it. Therefore it was logical to take athletes who spend their days in the water on a boat trip. This professional waterpolo club was founded in 1953 and since then has represented the area of the city of \u0160ibenik and Dalmatia, and has been a long-time Croatian first division competitor.<\/p>\n The excursion we took lasts two and a half hours, with a half-hour tour of the Krka monastery. Then it continues upstream, to the medieval fortresses of Ne\u010dven and Tro\u0161enj. Due to their location on the high cliffs of the canyon, the forts can only be seen from a boat. This also marks the end of the navigable waterway in the Park, which is marked by the Bibi\u0107 rapids.<\/p>\n The Krka monastery (Holy Archangel), the spiritual center of Orthodox believers in Dalmatia, is located three and a half kilometres east of Kistanje. It is located in a gentle widening of the Krka River called Carigradska Draga, in the central section of the Krka River canyon, which was named Aran\u0111elovac after it. There is no reliable historical information about when the monastery was built. It was first mentioned in written documents in 1402. Next to the monastery is a church built in the Byzantine style. In recent times, a large seminary was built, consecrated in 1989. Underneath the church are catacombs, which are open to visitors. The monastery has a large and rich library with codices, incunabula, and other rare books. Valuable icons and varied arts and crafts objects from the 15th<\/sup> to the 19th<\/sup> centuries are kept in the monastery treasury.<\/p>\n None of the four rivers in Dalmatia have as many fortifications on its banks as does the Krka: along its entire course, from its source to the mouth, there are numerous fortresses or castles. Medieval fortified castles \u2013 stone fortresses \u2013 were owned by various Croatian noble families. In addition to having a defensive function, some of these forts also represented the centers of settlements. Ne\u010dven was built on the edge of a cliff on the left bank of the Krka, three kilometres downstream from the Miljacka waterfall. The first lords were the Nelipi\u0107i, owners of the entire Promina-Miljevci region. A wooden bridge used to stretch across the canyon connecting Ne\u010dven and Tro\u0161enj (\u010cu\u010devo).
