Prvi dan prolje\u0107a, 21. o\u017eujka, ujedno se slavi kao Svjetski dan \u0161uma. Ove godine Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c \u017eeli skrenuti pozornost na ru\u017enu naviku urezivanja znakova na stablima, koji na njima trajno ostaju i opasni su za njih. Zato smo izradili cerade s vizualom na kojem se mo\u017ee crtati i postavili ih na petnaest lokacija u Parku (na trima stazama: Skradinski most \u2013 Skradinski buk, Skradinski buk i Lozovac \u2013 Skradinski buk).<\/p>\n
Kora kod stabla\u0161ica ima dvojaku funkciju jer se sastoji od unutra\u0161njeg i vanjskog dijela. Vanjski dio ima za\u0161titnu funkciju, a unutarnji provodnu. Kora stablo \u0161titi od negativnih vanjskih (okoli\u0161nih) utjecaja, kao \u0161to su ekstremne temperature, biljne bolesti ili napadi \u0161tetnika. Ve\u0107e mehani\u010dke ozljede kore dovode do fiziolo\u0161kog slabljenja stabla i naru\u0161avanja njegove vitalnosti.<\/p>\n
Iako kora stabala djeluje neuni\u0161tivo, va\u017eno je educirati djecu, ali i odrasle, o tomu koliko je va\u017ena za \u017eivot stabla i kako bezazlena igra poput urezivanja simbola u koru drveta za nj mo\u017ee biti pogubna.<\/p>\n
\u0160umama op\u0107enito treba posvetiti veliku pozornost jer su danas globalno ugro\u017eene zbog lo\u0161eg gospodarenja, po\u017eara, poreme\u0107enog re\u017eima voda, kukaca, glodavaca, bakterija, gljivica, one\u010di\u0161\u0107enja zraka, tla i voda, kiselih ki\u0161a i dr. Na svjetskoj razini, gubitak \u0161uma nastavit \u0107e se zbog klimatskih promjena unato\u010d globalnim naporima da se smanji ispu\u0161tanje u atmosferu plinova s u\u010dinkom staklenika. U tom smislu za\u0161tita \u0161uma podrazumijeva primjereno odnosno kontinuirano gospodarenje, za\u0161titu od \u0161teto\u010dina i po\u017eara, za\u0161titu \u0161umskog tla i stabala te druge preventive mjere.<\/p>\n

[en] The first day of spring, March 21, is also celebrated as International Day of Forests. This year, the Krka National Park would like to draw attention to the ugly habit of carving marks on trees, which remain on them permanently and are dangerous for their health. So, we made tarpaulins with a visual appearance of bark that can be drawn on, and placed them at fifteen locations throughout the Park\u00a0(on three trails: Skradin\u00a0 bridge \u2013 Skradinski buk, Skradinski buk, and Lozovac \u2013 Skradinski buk).<\/p>\n The bark of trees has a dual function because it consists of an inner and an outer part. The outer part has a protective function, and the inner part has a conductive function. The bark of a tree protects it from negative external (environmental) influences, such as extreme temperatures, plant diseases, or attacks by pests. Major mechanical damage to the bark leads to the physiological weakening of the tree and impairment of its vitality.<\/p>\n Although the bark of trees seems indestructible, it is important to educate children, as well as adults, about how important it is to the life of a tree and how a harmless game such as carving symbols into the bark of a tree can be fatal to it.<\/p>\n Forests in general need to be paid considerable attention as today they are globally threatened because of poor management, fires, disturbed water systems, insects, rodents, bacteria, fungi, and pollution of the air, soil, and water, acid rain, etc. On a global level, forest loss will continue due to climate change despite international efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
