[hr]Rezultate monitoringa Park \u0107e koristiti za provo\u0111enje mjera za\u0161tite s ciljem o\u010duvanja ptica vodarica i njihova stani\u0161ta<\/strong><\/p>\n

I ove godine JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c pridru\u017eila se najstarijem i najve\u0107em monitoringu bioraznolikosti na svijetu, zimskom prebrojavanju ptica vodarica, koji ima za cilj nove spoznaje, kroz kontinuirano pra\u0107enje brojnosti ptica na vodenim povr\u0161inama, o ugro\u017eenosti vrsta ptica i njihovih stani\u0161ta. Monitoring organizira i provodi Wetlands International, svjetska organizacija za za\u0161titu mo\u010dvarnih podru\u010dja od 1967. godine.<\/p>\n

U prebrojavanju ptica vodarica na podru\u010dju NP \u201eKrka\u201c 14. i 15. sije\u010dnja 2023. sudjelovali su djelatnici JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c i Ivan Budinski, ornitolog iz udruge Biom. Pored vodarica, bilje\u017eene su i ostale zna\u010dajne vrste. Prebrojavanje je obavljeno promatranjem s kopna i iz plovila.<\/p>\n

Na podru\u010dju Parka ukupno je zabilje\u017eeno osamnaest vrsta vodarica s 1 338 jedinki. Brojno\u0161\u0107u su prevladavale liske, divlje i krunate patke te veliki vranac, koje su zajedno \u010dinile 87 % ukupno zabilje\u017eenih jedinki ptica vodarica na zimovanju. Znatno manji broj jedinki koje su podru\u010dje NP \u201eKrka\u201c odabrale za zimovanje posljedica je klimatski blage zime.<\/p>\n

Najvi\u0161e ptica na zimovanju zabilje\u017eeno je na \u0161irem podru\u010dju jezera Torak, odnosno na u\u0161\u0107u \u010cikole u Krku, gdje je zabilje\u017eeno najve\u0107e jato, liski, koje je brojilo 290 jedinki. Od pataka, zabilje\u017eeno je sedam vrsta (divlja, kreketaljka, lastarka, \u017eli\u010darka, glavata, njorka i krunata), od gnjuraca, \u010detiri vrste (u\u0161ati, crnogrli, mali i \u0107ubasti), a od \u010daplji, samo siva \u010daplja.<\/p>\n

Posebno nas veseli \u0161to na \u0161irem podru\u010dju oko manastira Krka od pro\u0161le zime bilje\u017eimo jedinke velikog ronca, koji je prije toga na podru\u010dju Parka posljednji put zabilje\u017een davne 1988. godine na Visova\u010dkom jezeru. Rezultate monitoringa Park \u0107e koristiti za provo\u0111enje mjera za\u0161tite s ciljem o\u010duvanja ptica vodarica i njihova stani\u0161ta.<\/p>\n

The results of monitoring in the Park will be used to implement measures to protect waterbirds and their habitats<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once again this year, the Public Institute of Krka National Park has joined in the world’s oldest and largest biodiversity monitoring system, the winter count of waterbirds, aimed at ensuring the ongoing monitoring of bird abundances on water surfaces to collecting new knowledge on the threats to bird species and their habitats. This monitoring is organised and implemented by Wetlands International, a global organisation for the protection of wetland birds since 1967.<\/p>\n

In the waterbird count in Krka National Park, the staff of the Public Institute of Krka National Park were joined by Ivan Budinski, an ornithologist from the Biom Society on 14\u201315 January 2023. In addition to the waterbirds, other significant species were also recorded. The counts are usually conducted by bird watching from land and by vessel.<\/p>\n

In the Park area, a total of 18 waterbird species with 1338 individuals were counted. The most abundant species were the coots, mallard ducks and tufted ducks, and the large cormorant, which together made up 87% of all waterbirds recorded as wintering in the Park. The significantly lower number of individuals found in the Park area this winter is the result of the mild winter so far this year.<\/p>\n

The most wintering birds were found in the area of Torak Lake, at the confluence of the \u010cikola and Krka River, where the largest flock of coots was recorded with a total of 190 individuals. In all, seven species of duck were recorded (mallard, gadwall, ferruginous and tufted duck, northern pintail, northern shoveler, common pochard), four species of grebe (horned, black-necked, little and great-crested grebe), while only the grey heron was recorded among the herons.<\/p>\n

We are particularly thrilled that since last winter, we have been seeing individuals of common merganser around the Krka monastery. Prior to this, this species was last recorded in the Park area in 1988 in the area of Visovac Lake.\u00a0The results of monitoring in the Park will be used to implement measures to protect waterbirds and their habitats.<\/p>\n
