U Visova\u010dkom jezeru zabilje\u017eena je koncentracija otopljenog organskog ugljika od\u00a02,5 mg\/L, dok je u Brljanskom jezeru ta vrijednost iznosila\u00a01,6 mg\/L.<\/p>\n<p>Visova\u010dko jezero pokazuje izra\u017eenu\u00a0stratifikaciju, za razliku od Brljanskog jezera. Tijekom ljetnih mjeseci u dubljim slojevima Visova\u010dkog jezera zabilje\u017eeni su\u00a0anoksi\u010dni uvjeti, \u0161to zna\u010dajno utje\u010de na kemijske i biolo\u0161ke procese unutar jezera.<\/p>\n<p>Statisti\u010dka analiza isti\u010de\u00a0spojeve du\u0161ika, osobito\u00a0nitrate, kao va\u017ene parametre koji opisuju trofi\u010dko i ekolo\u0161ko stanje Visova\u010dkog jezera.<\/p>\n<p>U vodenom stupcu Visova\u010dkog jezera zabilje\u017eena je prisutnost\u00a0cijanobakterija, koje \u010dine va\u017enu komponentu\u00a0primarne proizvodnje, dok u Brljanskom jezeru njihova prisutnost nije utvr\u0111ena.<\/p>\n<p>Pojava\u00a0anoksije\u00a0zna\u010dajno je utjecala na\u00a0sastav mikrobne zajednice\u00a0u Visova\u010dkom jezeru. Na to upu\u0107uje pojava filuma\u00a0Chloroflexota, koji je pokazatelj\u00a0reduktivnih uvjeta\u00a0i indikator\u00a0anoksi\u010dnog stanja\u00a0u dubljim slojevima jezera.<\/p>\n<p>Zbog razlika u sastavu mikrobnih zajednica, razlikuju se i dominantni\u00a0metaboli\u010dki putevi: u Visova\u010dkom jezeru prevladava\u00a0fototrofija, dok u Brljanskom jezeru dominira\u00a0aerobna kemoheterotrofija.[\/hr]<\/p>\n<p>[en]<br \/>\n<strong>Monitoring organic loading of Visovac and Brljan Lakes<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>During 2024 and 2025, the Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 Institute conducted research on Visovac and Brljan Lakes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The research results indicate a significant increase in organic loading in Visovac Lake in comparison with Brljan Lake. Concentrations of dissolved organic carbon were 2.5 mg\/L in Visovac Lake, and 1.6 mg\/L in Brljan. Visovac Lake showed pronounced stratification, while Brljan Lake did not. During the summer months, the deeper layers of Visovac Lake recorded anoxic conditions, which significantly impacts the chemical and biological processes within the lake. Statistical analysis highlighted the nitrogen compounds, particularly nitrate, as important parameters that describe the trophic and ecological condition of Visovac Lake.<\/p>\n<p>Cyanobacteria, an important component in primary production, was present in the water column of Visovac Lake, but not in Brljan Lake. The appearance of anoxia significantly impacted the composition of the microbial community in Visovac Lake.
