[hr]Na dana\u0161nji dan prije to\u010dno 130 godina, 28. kolovoza 1895., na Skradinskom buku u pogon je pu\u0161tena hidroelektrana Krka, jedno od najzna\u010dajnijih elektroenergetskih postrojenja u povijesti energetike u Hrvatskoj i svijetu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tim povodom Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c u suradnji s Dr\u017eavnim arhivom u \u0160ibeniku postavila je izlo\u017ebu koja \u0107e posjetiteljima pribli\u017eiti povijesni zna\u010daj pothvata Ante \u0160upuka i Vjekoslava Meichsnera.<\/p>\n

Te je ve\u010deri \u0160ibenik postao prvi grad na svijetu u kojem je zasvijetlila elektri\u010dna rasvjeta na izmjeni\u010dnu struju, dobivena iz hidroelektrane Krka. Osim za javnu rasvjetu, elektri\u010dna energija iz HE Krka ubrzo se po\u010dela koristiti i za pogon strojeva u mlinovima, uljarama i tvornicama i rasvjetu ugostiteljskih objekata i prvih ku\u0107anstava. Time je ostvaren prvi cjeloviti elektroprivredni sustav u svijetu temeljen na izmjeni\u010dnoj struji, koji je obuhvatio proizvodnju, prijenos i distribuciju elektri\u010dne energije.<\/p>\n

\u201eKrka nije samo prirodno \u010dudo, ve\u0107 i mjesto na kojem je ispisana jedna od najva\u017enijih stranica svjetske industrijske povijesti. Elektri\u010dna energija proizvedena ovdje prije 130 godina promijenila je civilizaciju, a \u0160ibenik je u tom trenutku bio u samom vrhu tehnolo\u0161kog napretka. Ponosni smo \u0161to Nacionalni park ‘Krka’, uz o\u010duvanje prirodnih vrijednosti, brine i o valorizaciji kulturnopovijesne ba\u0161tine te posjetiteljima omogu\u0107uje da na Skradinskom buku do\u017eive i dio industrijske povijesti<\/strong>\u201c, istaknula je ravnateljica JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c Nella Slavica i dodala: \u201eKoliko je gospodarski uzlet \u0160ibenika na prijelazu stolje\u0107a bio potaknut industrijskim postrojenjima na Krki i oko nje, toliko se danas razvoj \u0160ibenika i \u0161ibenskog kraja temelji na za\u0161titi i o\u010duvanju prirodne i kulturne ba\u0161tine rijeke Krke kao \u017eile kucavice na\u0161e lijepe \u017eupanije. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Industrijska arhitektura na rijeci Krki svjedo\u010di o velikim tehnolo\u0161kim postignu\u0107ima koja su promijenila na\u010din \u017eivota ljudi. Na preporuku Povijesnog odbora zadu\u017eenog za o\u010duvanje i promicanje in\u017eenjerske ba\u0161tine, Institut in\u017eenjera elektrotehnike i elektronike (IEEE), 20. svibnja 2013. uvrstio je hidroelektranu Krka na Skradinskom buku me\u0111u povijesno va\u017ena in\u017eenjerska postignu\u0107a svijeta.<\/p>\n

\u201eDanas ne obilje\u017eavamo samo va\u017ean datum iz na\u0161e slavne pro\u0161losti, ve\u0107 i vizionarstvo i odlu\u010dnost politi\u010dkog vodstva tada\u0161njeg \u0160ibenika, ali i intelektualaca i in\u017eenjera koji su imali slobodu napraviti ne\u0161to novo i pozitivno. Bez hidroelektrane Krka razvoj \u0160ibenika i cijelog \u0161ibenskog kraja ne bi bio mogu\u0107<\/strong>\u201c, kazao je \u0161ibensko-kninski \u017eupan Pa\u0161ko Raki\u0107 i naglasio: \u201eZahvaljuju\u0107i tomu, \u0160ibenik je i danas uspje\u0161an u gospodarskom kontekstu i ima svoju perspektivu i budu\u0107nost. Neka ta hrabrost bude nit vodilja nama koji smo nositelji izvr\u0161ne vlasti, ali i svim generacijama koje \u0107e do\u0107i poslije nas.<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n

Iako je stara hidroelektrana Krka prestala s radom 1913., a postrojenja su demontirana tijekom Prvog svjetskog rata, njezini ostaci, u vlasni\u0161tvu obitelji \u0160upuk, i danas se mogu vidjeti na Skradinskom buku, gdje su postavljene i informativne plo\u010de.<\/p>\n

\u201eU ono vrijeme, kao i danas, nije bilo uvijek lako prihvatiti nove ideje. Prevlast izmjeni\u010dne struje nad istosmjernom je bila velika prekretnica i zato je donosila i velike bojazni. Ante \u0160upuk je pokazao hrabrost i ponudio tu ideju in\u017eenjeru Meichsneru koji ju je prihvatio i u nepune dvije godine hidroelektrana Krka je pu\u0161tena u pogon<\/strong>\u201c, rekao je Marko \u0160upuk i dodao: \u201eVizionar Ante \u0160upuk zaslu\u017ean je i za mnoga druga va\u017ena postignu\u0107a, kao \u0161to je izgradnja bolnice, ali nije mirovao ni na politi\u010dkom planu, gdje je uveo hrvatski jezik u \u0161kole. Sve to ostalo je urezano u povijest na\u0161eg grada, ali i \u0161ire<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n

Izlo\u017eba fotografija na Skradinskom buku otvorena je za sve posjetitelje i pru\u017ea jedinstvenu priliku za upoznavanje s povije\u0161\u0107u elektrifikacije \u0160ibenika, kao i s ulogom rijeke Krke u razvoju modernog dru\u0161tva.<\/p>\n

Exactly 130 years ago today, on August 28, 1895, the Krka hydroelectric power plant was put into operation at Skradinski buk, one of the most significant power plants in the history of energy in Croatia and the world<\/strong><\/p>\n

On this occasion, the Public Institution Krka National Park, in cooperation with the State Archives in \u0160ibenik, has set up an exhibition that will introduce visitors to the historical significance of the undertakings of Ante \u0160upuk and Vjekoslav Meichsner.<\/p>\n

That evening, \u0160ibenik became the first city in the world to have alternating current electric lighting, supplied by the Krka hydroelectric power plant. In addition to public lighting, the electricity from the Krka hydroelectric power plant soon began to be used to power machinery in mills, oil mills, and factories, as well as to light catering establishments and the first households. This created the first complete electric power system in the world based on alternating current, which included the production, transmission, and distribution of electric energy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Krka is not only a natural wonder, but also a place where one of the most important pages of the world’s industrial history was written. The electricity produced here 130 years ago changed civilization, and \u0160ibenik at that moment was at the very forefront of technological progress. We are proud that the Krka National Park, in addition to preserving natural features, also cares about the valorization of the cultural and historical heritage, and allows visitors to experience a part of industrial history at the Skradinski buk waterfalls\u201d<\/strong>, emphasized the director of the Krka National Park, Nella Slavica, and added: \u201cJust as the economic boom of \u0160ibenik at the turn of the century was driven by industrial plants on and around the Krka River, today the development of \u0160ibenik and the \u0160ibenik region is based on the protection and preservation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Krka River as the lifeblood of our beautiful county\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The industrial architecture on the Krka River bears witness to great technological achievements that have changed the way people live. On the recommendation of the Historical Committee responsible for the preservation and promotion of the engineering heritage, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), on May 20, 2013, included the Krka hydroelectric power plant at Skradinski Buk among the historically most important engineering achievements in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday we are not only celebrating an important date from our glorious past, but also the vision and determination of the political leadership of \u0160ibenik at the time, as well as the intellectuals and engineers who had the freedom to do something new and positive. Without the Krka hydroelectric power plant, the development of \u0160ibenik and the entire \u0160ibenik region would not be possible<\/strong>\u201d, said the \u0160ibenik-Knin County Prefect Pa\u0161ko Raki\u0107, and added: \u201cThanks to this, \u0160ibenik is still successful in the economic context today and has its own perspective in the future. May this courage be a guiding thread for us who bear the executive power, but also for all generations that will come after us.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the old Krka hydroelectric power plant ceased operations in 1913, and the facilities were dismantled during World War I, its remains, still owned by the \u0160upuk family, can still be seen today at Skradinski Buk, where information panels have been installed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt that time, just like today, it was not always easy to accept new ideas. The dominance of alternating current over direct current was a major turning point and therefore was accompanied by great fears. Ante \u0160upuk displayed courage and introduced the idea to the engineer Meichsner, who accepted it, and in less than two years the Krka hydroelectric power plant was put into operation\u201d<\/strong>, stated Marko \u0160upuk and added: \u201cThe<\/strong> visionary Ante \u0160upuk was also responsible for many other important achievements, such as the construction of a hospital, but he did not stand still on the political front either, as he saw that Croatian language lessons were introduced into schools. All of this has remained etched in the history of our city, but also beyond\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The photographic exhibition at the Skradinski buk waterfall is open to all visitors and provides a unique opportunity to learn about the history of the electrification of \u0160ibenik, as well as the role of the Krka River in the development of modern society in Croatia.<\/p>\n
