{"id":11514,"date":"2025-03-18T12:02:47","date_gmt":"2025-03-18T11:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.npkrka.hr\/?p=11514"},"modified":"2025-12-02T13:01:32","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T12:01:32","slug":"projekt-istrazivanje-stanja-i-sastava-protista-sedrenih-barijera-rijeke-krka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/hr\/2025\/03\/18\/projekt-istrazivanje-stanja-i-sastava-protista-sedrenih-barijera-rijeke-krka\/","title":{"rendered":"Projekt \u201eIstra\u017eivanje stanja i sastava protista sedrenih barijera rijeke Krka\u201c"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[hr]<strong>Cilj projekta \u201eIstra\u017eivanje stanja i sastava protista sedrenih barijera rijeke Krke\u201c bio je opisati zajednicu protista u obra\u0161tajnim zajednicama sedrenih barijera u prolje\u0107e i jesen 2024. godine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Perifiton, obra\u0161tajna zajednica mikroorganizama u potocima, rijekama i jezerima, klju\u010dni je izvor hranjivih tvari za beskralje\u0161njake i bentoske herbivore, te ima va\u017enu ulogu u protoku energije, kru\u017eenju tvari i biogeokemijskim ciklusima. Osim \u0161to doprinosi primarnoj i sekundarnoj proizvodnji, osobito u ekosustavima sedrenih barijera i slapova, perifiton slu\u017ei i kao biolo\u0161ki pokazatelj promjena u vodenim ekosustavima.\u00a0Istra\u017eivanje je pro\u0161irilo dotada\u0161nji fokus na dijatomeje (alge kremenja\u0161ice) uklju\u010divanjem i heterotrofne komponente (pra\u017eivotinja), omogu\u0107iv\u0161i jedinstven uvid u obra\u0161tajne zajednice sedam slapova rijeke Krke.<\/p>\n<p>Rezultati analiza pokazali su da okoli\u0161ni \u010dinioci znatno utje\u010du na sezonsku dinamiku protista. Primjerice, na Brljanu su u kolovozu najbrojniji bili trepetljika\u0161i, kojima pogoduje vi\u0161a koncentracija hranjivih tvari, dok su u skupini dijatomeja prevladavale vrste roda <em>Achnanthidium<\/em>, poznate po \u0161irokoj toleranciji na razli\u010dite okoli\u0161ne uvjete. Prema relativnoj u\u010destalosti svojti i jedne i druge skupine protista, mo\u017eemo vidjeti da postoji potencijalna me\u0111usobna ovisnost izme\u0111u odre\u0111enih skupina, poput trepetljika\u0161a i dijatomeja (naprimjer na Bilu\u0161i\u0107a buku i Manojlova\u010dkom slapu), te kolnjaka i dijatomeja (naprimjer na Skradinskom buku).<\/p>\n<p>Za preciznije zaklju\u010dke potrebna su dodatna istra\u017eivanja, uklju\u010duju\u0107i primjenu molekularnih metoda. Ovo istra\u017eivanje istaknulo je va\u017enost perifitona u ekolo\u0161kim procesima i svoj potencijal u monitoringu kvalitete vode, pridonijev\u0161i, uz podr\u0161ku njezinoj za\u0161titi i o\u010duvanju, boljem razumijevanju ekolo\u0161kog stanja rijeke Krke.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"fotorama rounded-lg  shadow lblue-bg mt-5   \" data-width=\"100%\" data-ratio=\"16\/10\"  data-nav=\"thumbs\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-arrows=\"true\" data-transition=\"crossfade\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lacrymaria_cilijati.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lembadion_cilijati.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/Trithigmostoma_cilijati.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/Navicula-gottlandica_dijatomeja.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pulchellophycus-obsitus_dijatomeja.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/div><p>&nbsp;<\/p>[\/hr]<\/p>\n<p>[en]<br \/>\n<strong>The project &quot;An investigation into the state and composition of protists in the tufa barriers of the Krka River&quot;<\/strong><br \/>\nThe aim of the project &#8220;An investigation into the state and composition of protists in the travertine barriers of the Krka River&#8221; was to describe the community of protists in the attached communities of the tufa barriers during the spring and autumn of 2024<\/p>\n<p>Periphyton, the attached community of microorganisms in streams, rivers, and lakes, is a key source of nutrients for invertebrates and benthic herbivores, and plays an important role in energy flow, material cycling, and biogeochemical cycles. In addition to contributing to primary and secondary production, especially in the ecosystems of tufa barriers and waterfalls, periphyton also serves as a biological indicator of changes in aquatic ecosystems. Research has expanded the previous focus on diatoms (diatomaceous algae) to include heterotrophic components (protozoa), providing a unique insight into the attached communities of seven waterfalls on the Krka River.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the analyses showed that environmental factors significantly influence the seasonal dynamics of protists. For example, ciliates, which benefit from higher nutrient concentrations, were most abundant on Brljan in August, while the diatom group was dominated by species of the genus <em>Achnanthidium<\/em>, known for their broad tolerance to various environmental conditions. According to the relative frequency of taxa from both groups of protists, it can be seen that there is a potential interdependence between certain groups, such as ciliates and diatoms (examples: Bilu\u0161i\u0107a buk and Manojlovac waterfall), and ciliates and diatoms (example: Skradinski buk waterfall).<\/p>\n<p>Further research, including the application of molecular methods, would be needed for more precise conclusions.
