[hr]Cilj Erasmus+ projekta \u201ePodizanje ekolo\u0161ke osvije\u0161tenosti kod mladih iz za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja\u201c je uklju\u010divanje mladih u dobi od trinaest do trideset godina u aktivnosti za\u0161tite prirode i okoli\u0161a<\/strong><\/p>\n

Od 13. do 16. svibnja 2024. u Nacionalnom parku \u201eKrka\u201c odr\u017eano je prvo studijsko putovanje u sklopu Erasmus+ projekta \u201ePodizanje ekolo\u0161ke osvije\u0161tenosti kod mladih iz za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja\u201c. Predstavnici za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja iz Latvije i Finske tom su prigodom obi\u0161li brojne lokalitete u Nacionalnom parku \u201eKrka\u201c, sudjelovali na radionicama o zajedni\u010dkim temama, a posjetili su i \u0160ibenik. Izme\u0111u nositelja projekta i Javne ustanove \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c potpisan je ugovor o partnerstvu za idu\u0107e dvije godine.<\/p>\n

\u201eIzuzetno nam je drago \u0161to sudjelujemo u me\u0111unarodnom projektu koji povezuje razli\u010dita europska za\u0161ti\u0107ena podru\u010dja i koji \u0107e u na\u0161em Parku rezultirati formiranjem novog programa za grupe mladih \u010duvara prirode<\/strong>\u201c kazala je ravnateljica Javne ustanove \u201eNacionalni park \u201eKrka\u201c Nella Slavica i naglasila: \u201eNacionalni park ‘Krka’ ima veliko iskustvo u provo\u0111enju edukativnih programa, stoga \u0107e, zahvaljuju\u0107i primjeni Junior Ranger po\u010dela, na\u0161i u\u010denici mo\u0107i kontinuirano i temeljito upoznavati prirodne vrijednosti i u starijoj dobi. Tako\u0111er nam je drago da NP ‘Krka’ mo\u017eemo predstaviti kao mjesto iznimne bioraznolikosti i bogate ba\u0161tine koje omogu\u0107uje usavr\u0161avanje, umre\u017eavanje, kreativnost i volonterstvo.<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n

U konferencijskom dijelu posjeta projektni partneri predstavili su svoja za\u0161ti\u0107ena podru\u010dja. Finci su posebno istaknuli bogato iskustvo u provo\u0111enju edukativnih programa sa skautima, a Latvijci s programima mladih \u010duvara prirode. Preko digitalne platforme konferenciji se pridru\u017eila i Jessica Micklem-Koleni\u0107, voditeljica programa za mlade u Europarc Federation, organizaciji koja okuplja vi\u0161e od \u010detiristo za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja u \u010detrdeset europskih zemalja. Micklem-Koleni\u0107 predstavila je metodologiju provo\u0111enja programa Junior Ranger i mogu\u0107nosti ostvarivanja partnerstva sa za\u0161ti\u0107enim podru\u010djima u provo\u0111enju edukacije mladih \u010duvara prirode.<\/p>\n

\u201eGaujas nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds iz Latvije ima dvadesetogodi\u0161nje iskustvo u provo\u0111enju programa Junior Ranger, koji po\u010diva na na\u010delima Europarc Federation. Zahvaljuju\u0107i tom programu postali smo dio mre\u017ee koja okuplja mlade \u010duvare prirode u Europi, stoga vjerujemo da \u0107e i Nacionalni park ‘Krka’ uspje\u0161no implementirati vrijednosti koje dijelimo<\/strong>\u201c, kazala je voditeljica programa Junior Ranger u Gaujas nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds Anda Andru\u0161aite i dodala: \u201eZbog zanimanja i anga\u017eiranosti na\u0161ih mladih \u010duvara prirode nakon \u0161to postanu punoljetni, prije nekoliko godina pokrenuli smo i Youth+ program, tako\u0111er u partnerstvu s organizacijom Europarc Federation<\/strong>.\u201c<\/p>\n

Biolozi iz za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja Latvije i Finske za terenskog obilaska Parka razmijenili su iskustva iz za\u0161tite bioraznolikosti s hrvatskim kolegama. Tom prilikom upoznali su se s izuzetnim prirodnim vrijednostima NP \u201eKrka\u201c, procesima sedrenja, endemskim i invazivnim vrstama te bogatom kulturnopovijesnom ba\u0161tinom i prezentacijskim centrima. Vidjeli su \u0161est od ukupno sedam Krkinih slapova, a posebno ih se dojmio kr\u0161ki reljef kanjona.<\/p>\n

\u201eVrlo nadahnjuju\u0107e bilo je upoznati na\u010din upravljanja Nacionalnim parkom ‘Krka’, koji osigurava odr\u017eivost, pri \u010demu su nam posebno bile zanimljive mjere koje se provode kako bi uz za\u0161titu bio zadovoljen veliki interes posjetitelja<\/strong>\u201c, rekla je ravnateljica \u0136emeru nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds Agnese Balandi\u0146a pritom istaknuv\u0161i: \u201eU Latviji 12 % teritorija zauzimaju za\u0161ti\u0107ena podru\u010dja koja su stanovnicima dostupna bez ograni\u010denja, a \u010desto provodimo i razli\u010dite aktivnosti kako bismo \u010dlanove lokalne zajednice privukli i senzibilizirali na potrebu o\u010duvanja prirode. Jako nam je stalo da djeca od rane mladosti nau\u010de koliko je va\u017ean su\u017eivot s prirodom.<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n

Projektne aktivnosti provodit \u0107e se od 1. velja\u010de 2024. do 31. sije\u010dnja 2026. Ukupna vrijednost projekta je 60.000,00 eura, \u0161to u potpunosti financira Europska unija. Nositelj projekta \u201ePodizanje ekolo\u0161ke osvije\u0161tenosti kod mladih iz za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja\u201c (2023-3-LV02-KA210-YOU-000170610) je \u0136emeru nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds iz Latvije, a projektni partneri su Gaujas nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds iz Latvije, Kehitt\u00e4misyhdistys Sepra ry iz Finske i Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c.<\/p>\n

Ciljevi su projekta informiranje mladih o klimatskim promjenama, ja\u010danje svijesti mladih o potrebi o\u010duvanja prirode i okoli\u0161a, te sudjelovanje i razmjena iskustva mladih u dobi od trinaest do trideset godina preko zajedni\u010dkih platformi za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja u zemljama partnerima projekta, razvoj sistema motivacije za sudjelovanje mladih u o\u010duvanju okoli\u0161a, njihovo umre\u017eavanje i razmjena ideja.<\/p>\n

\nThe goal of the Erasmus+ project “Raising environmental awareness among young people in protected areas” is to involve young people between the ages of thirteen and thirty in activities relating to the protection of nature and the environment <\/strong><\/p>\n

From May 13 to 16, 2024, the first study trip as part of the Erasmus+ project “Raising environmental awareness among young people in protected areas” was held in the Krka National Park. On that occasion, representatives of protected areas from Latvia and Finland visited numerous sites in the Krka National Park, participated in workshops on mutually relevant topics, and also visited \u0160ibenik. A partnership agreement for the next two years was signed between the project holders and the Public Institute of Krka National Park.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extremely pleased to be participating in an international project that connects different European protected areas and that will result in the formation of a new program in our Park for groups of young nature conservationists<\/strong>\u201d stated the director of the Krka National Park, Nella Slavica, and emphasised: \u201cThe Krka National Park has extensive experience in implementing educational programmes, therefore, thanks to the application of the Junior Ranger system, our students will be able to continuously and thoroughly learn about natural features \u200b\u200beven at an older age. We are also pleased that we can present the Krka National Park as a place with exceptional biodiversity and a rich heritage that enables training, networking, creativity, and volunteering.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

In the conference part of the visit, the project partners presented their protected areas. The Finns especially emphasised their rich experience in conducting educational programmes with scouts, and the Latvians with their programmes for young conservationists. Jessica Micklem-Koleni\u0107, head of youth programmes at the Europarc Federation, an organisation that brings together more than four hundred protected areas in forty European countries, joined the conference via the digital platform. Micklem-Koleni\u0107 presented the methodology for the implementation of the Junior Ranger programme and the possibilities of achieving a partnership with protected areas in the implementation of the education of young guardians of nature.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Gaujas National Park Fund (Gaujas nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds<\/em>) from Latvia has had twenty years of experience in implementing the Junior Ranger programme, which is based on the principles of the Europarc Federation. Thanks to this programme, we became part of a network that brings together young nature conservationists throughout Europe, so we believe that the Krka National Park will also successfully implement the values \u200b\u200bwe share<\/strong>\u201d, said Anda Andru\u0161aite, head of the Junior Ranger programme in the Gaujas National Park Fund, who added: \u201cDue to the interest and engagement of our young nature guardians after they reached adulthood, a few years ago we launched the Youth+ programme, also in partnership with the Europarc Federation<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Biologists from the protected areas in Latvia and Finland exchanged experiences in the protection of biodiversity with their Croatian colleagues during their field tours within the Park. On this occasion, they became acquainted with the exceptional natural features \u200b\u200bof the Krka National Park, along with both endemic and invasive species, and further, the processes of tufa formation, as well as the rich cultural-historical heritage, and presentation centers. They saw six of the seven Krka waterfalls, and were particularly impressed by the karst relief of the canyon.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was very inspiring to learn about the management of the Krka National Park, which ensures sustainability, and we were particularly interested in the interesting measures implemented in order to satisfy the great interest of visitors in addition to the protection of nature<\/strong>\u201d, said the director of the \u0136emeru National Park Fund (\u0136emeru nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds<\/em>), Agnese Balandi\u0146a, who also pointed out: \u201cIn<\/strong> Latvia, 12% of the territory is occupied by protected areas that are accessible to residents without restrictions, and we often carry out various activities to attract and sensitise members of the local community to the need for nature conservation. It is very important to us that children learn from an early age the importance of coexistence with nature.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

Project activities will be carried out from February 1, 2024 to January 31, 2026. The total value of the project is EUR 60,000.00, which is entirely financed by the European Union. The holder of the project “Raising ecological awareness among young people in protected areas”<\/em> (2023-3-LV02-KA210-YOU-000170610) is the \u0136emeru National Park Fund (\u0136emeru nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds<\/em>) from Latvia, while the project partners are the Gaujas National Park Fund (Gaujas nacion\u0101l\u0101 parka fonds<\/em>) from Latvia, the Kehitt\u00e4misyhdistys Sepra ry<\/em> from Finland, and the Krka National Park from Croatia.<\/p>\n

The goals of the project are to inform young people about climate change, to strengthen the awareness of young people about the need to preserve nature and the environment, as well as the participation and exchange of experience of young people between the ages of thirteen and thirty through common platforms of protected areas in the project’s partner countries, the development of a system of motivation for young people’s participation in environmental protection, and the development of networking and the exchange of ideas.<\/p>\n
