Na podru\u010dju NP \u201eKrka\u201c otkrivena je 1989. godine, a pra\u0107enje stanja njezine populacije po\u010delo je 2012. godine projektom Proteus. Ciljna je vrsta Natura 2000 podru\u010dja \u201e\u0160ire podru\u010dje NP Krka\u201c. Pra\u0107enje stanja populacije \u010dovje\u010dje ribice u speleolo\u0161kim objektima u kojima ona obitava pokazalo je da je stabilna.<\/p>\n
Kako bi se dobio bolji uvid u rasprostranjenost vrste, tijekom 2023. godine pra\u0107enje je obavljeno i detekcijom okoli\u0161ne DNK (eDNA). Rezultati analize okoli\u0161ne DNK potvrdili su prisutnost vrste u sustavima izvora u koritu rijeke Krke nizvodno od izvori\u0161ta Miljacka, u izvori\u0161tu Torak i u \u0161pilji na podru\u010dju Bilu\u0161i\u0107a buka, \u010dime se njezin areal na podru\u010dju Parka pro\u0161irio.<\/p>\n
Rezultati ukazuju na to da bi ova ciljna vrsta mogla biti \u0161ire rasprostranjena, ali je te\u0161ko prona\u0107i mjesta gdje bi joj se fizi\u010dki moglo pristupiti. S obzirom na vrlo mali broj speleolo\u0161kih objekata s vodnim tijelom na podru\u010dju Parka, \u0161ire spoznaje o rasprostranjenosti vrste mogu\u0107e je dobiti jedino testiranjem u povezanim \u0161piljskim sustavima izvan granica Parka.<\/p>\n

[en] In Krka National Park, the presence of the olm was discovered in 1989, and monitoring the state of its population began in 2012 through the project Proteus. It is a target species of the Natura 2000 site \u201cBroader area of Krka National Park\u201d. Monitoring conducted in speleological structures where the olm population is known confirmed that the population is stable.<\/p>\n In order to obtain better insight into the species distribution, during 2023, a survey was conducted to detect environmental DNA (eDNA). The results of the analysis of environmental DNA confirmed that this species is present in the spring systems of the Krka River downstream of the Miljacka spring, Torak spring, and the cave at Bilu\u0161i\u0107a buk, thereby expanding the known distribution range of this species in the Park area.<\/p>\n The results indicate that this target species could be more widely distributed; however, it is difficult to find sites where this could be physically confirmed.
