Murva iz Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c trenutno je, s 1 683 glasova, na jedanaestom mjestu u natjecanju za Europsko stablo godine 2024. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Privremeni poredak objavljen je na mre\u017enoj<\/strong> stranici natjecanja<\/strong><\/a>, na kojoj i dalje mo\u017eete glasati za murvu sa Skradinskog buka, sve do 22. velja\u010de kada glasanje zavr\u0161ava. 15. velja\u010de bit \u0107e objavljen novi privremeni poredak. Mo\u017eemo li \u00a0do tada zajedni\u010dkim snagama pobolj\u0161ati plasman na\u0161e prekrasne murve?<\/p>\n

Me\u0111unarodno natjecanje Stablo godine nagla\u0161ava va\u017enost starih stabala u prirodnoj i kulturnoj ba\u0161tini te, za razliku od ostalih natjecanja, nastoji prona\u0107i i promovirati ona stabla koja su ukorijenjena u \u017eivot i rad ljudi, koja svojom pri\u010dom svjedo\u010de o pro\u0161losti i su\u017eivotu s ljudima.<\/p>\n

Upravo o tome pripovijeda, slikom i rije\u010dju, i film<\/a><\/strong> snimljen za potrebe prijave na natjecanje. Nalazi se u opisu na\u0161e murve sa Skradinskog buka, pod sretnim rednim brojem sedam, kao produ\u017eetak pri\u010de o Zelenoj dami iz Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c.<\/i><\/p>\n

Trominutni film u re\u017eiji Tomislava Krni\u0107a i produkciji Digital Media Studia 24\/7 donosi pri\u010du o pribli\u017eno 400 godina starom stablu bijelog duda smje\u0161tenom na desnoj obali rijeke ispod ostataka mlinice Budim.<\/p>\n

U filmu se prizori Skradinskog buka isprepli\u0107u s prikazom postavljanja kuki\u010dane lente, kojom je murva obavijena kako bismo je dostojno obilje\u017eili kao hrvatsku predstavnicu na natje\u010daju za Europsko stablo godine. Lentu su kuki\u010dale nadarene zaposlenice Javne ustanove \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c, a pridru\u017eiti su im se mogli i kreativni gra\u0111ani. Kuki\u010danje je pomalo zaboravljena vje\u0161tina, ali jako vrijedna jer nas u\u010di strpljenju i vje\u017eba na\u0161u preciznost. Ono je kao nit koja spaja pro\u0161lost i sada\u0161njost ovoga kraja, ba\u0161 kao i murva u Nacionalnom parku \u201eKrka\u201c.<\/p>\n

Sve to murvu \u010dini savr\u0161enim kandidatom za Europsko stablo godine, natjecanje kojem u sredi\u0161tu nisu samo ljepota, veli\u010dina ili starost odre\u0111enog stabla, ve\u0107 i pri\u010da o njemu i njegovoj povezanosti s lokalnim stanovni\u0161tvom. Stoga se takvim natjecanjem lokalne zajednice, ali i \u0161ira javnost, poti\u010du na uklju\u010divanje u za\u0161titu i o\u010duvanje prirodnih vrijednosti i bioraznolikosti. Zahvaljuju\u0107i toj vrsti natjecanja, stabla se promi\u010du kao dio prirodnog okoli\u0161a iznimno va\u017ean za \u017eivot \u010dovjeka i uop\u0107e opstanak \u010dovje\u010danstva.<\/p>\n

The interim rankings were published on the competition website<\/a>, and you can still vote for the mulberry tree at Skradinski buk until 22 February when the voting closes. The newest interim rankings will be released on 15 February. Can we come together to improve the rankings of our beautiful mulberry tree by then?<\/p>\n

The international Tree of the Year contest emphasises the importance of old trees in the natural and cultural heritage. Unlike other competitions, it aims to reveal and promote those trees that have been deeply rooted in the life and work of people, and whose story testifies to the past and coexistence with humans.<\/p>\n

This is exactly what the film made for the purpose of registration in this contest tells, in words and images. The link to the film can be found in the description of our mulberry tree from Skradinski buk, under lucky number 7, as an extension of the story of the Green Lady of Krka National Park<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This 3-minute film directed by Tomislav Krni\u0107 and produced by Digital Media Studia 24\/7 tells the story of this 400-year-old white mulberry tree, standing on the right bank of the river, near the ruins of the Budim mill.<\/p>\n

In the film, scenes of Skradinski buk are intertwined with scenes of putting up a crocheted scarf around the mulberry tree, to properly mark the tree as Croatia\u2019s candidate in the European Tree of the Year competition. The scarf was crocheted by the talented women working at the Public Institute of Krka National Park, with many creative citizens joining in. Crocheting is a somewhat forgotten skill, but so valuable as it teaches us patience and trains our precision. It is the thread that joins the past and the present of this area, just like the mulberry tree of Krka National Park.<\/p>\n

All this makes the mulberry tree the perfect candidate for Europe\u2019s Tree of the Year, a competition not based only on the beauty, size or age of a candidate tree, but on the story behind it, and its connections with the local population. Such competitions stimulate the local community and the general public to get involved in protecting and conserving natural values and biodiversity. Thanks to this type of competition, trees are promoted as a part of the natural environment that is exceptionally important for humans and for the general survival of mankind.<\/p>\n
