{"id":9321,"date":"2024-01-04T13:14:38","date_gmt":"2024-01-04T12:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.npkrka.hr\/?p=9321"},"modified":"2025-12-02T13:01:30","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T12:01:30","slug":"istrazivanje-potencijala-i-intenziteta-osedravanja-na-ciljanim-podrucjima-rijeke-krke","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/en_us\/2024\/01\/04\/istrazivanje-potencijala-i-intenziteta-osedravanja-na-ciljanim-podrucjima-rijeke-krke\/","title":{"rendered":"Researching the potential and intensity of tufa-building at target areas on the Krka River"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[hr]<strong>U 2023. godini Hrvatsko biolo\u0161ko dru\u0161tvo provelo je istra\u017eivanje potencijala i intenziteta osedravanja na sedam sedrenih slapova rijeke Krke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tijekom istra\u017eivanja postavljene su pokusne plohe, izmjereni okoli\u0161ni faktori i uzorkovan materijal za analizu.\u00a0Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da je komplementarno djelovanje razli\u010ditih sedrotvoraca specifi\u010dno za svaki od sedam sedrenih slapova rijeke Krke i da svako slapi\u0161te ima jedinstveni uzorak pojavljivanja i abundancije tih organizama. Istra\u017eivanje talo\u017eenja sedre na prirodnim i umjetnim podlogama pokazuje da rijeka Krka ima vrlo visok potencijal osedravanja na svim svojim slapovima, da intenzitet toga procesa ovisi o specifi\u010dnim uvjetima okoli\u0161a i biolo\u0161kim komponentama i da varira od niskog do vrlo visokog, ali nikada nije negativan.<\/p>\n<p>Na svim slapi\u0161tima zabilje\u017eeni su \u017eivi i vijabilni sedrotvorci, sedrotvorne mahovine i konglomerati cijanobakterija koje inkrustriraju sedru, kao i bogata fauna makrozoobentosa koja doprinosi procesu talo\u017eenja minerala kalcita.<\/p>\n<p>Dodatna pokusna ploha postavljena na Skradinskom buku, nizvodno od slapi\u0161ta, na lokalitetu na kojem je bilo kupali\u0161te, pokazuje recentno formiranje sedre na \u017eivim mahovinskim zajednicama i na starim blokovima u koritu i uz njega.<\/p>\n<p>Uz mahovinsku i cijanobakterijsku sedru, na tom lokalitetu obilno su se razvile i kolonije zelenih alga na blokovima stare sedre uz korito rijeke. Posebno se izdvaja zajednica kopnene zelene alge <em>Trentepohlia aurea<\/em>, vrste koja je na podru\u010dju rijeke Krke prvi put zabilje\u017eena 1890. godine, \u0161to najstariji zapis kopnene alge u Hrvatskoj (Hansgrig 1890). Kasnija istra\u017eivanja nisu je zabilje\u017eila sve do sada, kada je, nakon sto trideset godina, ponovo zabilje\u017eena na tom podru\u010dju. Ta vrsta kopnene alge iz grupe zelenih algi (Chlorophyta), intenzivne naran\u010daste boje zbog direktne izlo\u017eenosti sun\u010devim zrakama, govori o povratku i obnovi zajednica nakon prestanka ljudskih aktivnosti na tom lokalitetu.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"fotorama rounded-lg  shadow lblue-bg mt-5   \" data-width=\"100%\" data-ratio=\"16\/10\"  data-nav=\"thumbs\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-arrows=\"true\" data-transition=\"crossfade\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/20231015_110228-01-01.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/20231015_110336-01-01.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/aktivni-stari-sedreni-blokovi-desni-bocni-slap-Bilusica-buka.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/cijanobakterijski-blok-stijene-Bilusica-buk.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/slojevi-cijanobakterijske-sedre.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/uzorak-nastao-osedravanjem-mahovina.jpg\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/div><p>&nbsp;<\/p>[\/hr]<\/p>\n<p>[en]<br \/>\n<strong>Researching the potential and intensity of tufa-building at target areas on the Krka River<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>In 2023, the Croatian Biological Society conducted research to determine the potential and intensity of tufa-building on the seven tufa waterfalls of the Krka River<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the research, they installed experimental plots, measured environmental factors, and collected samples for analysis.\u00a0The obtained results indicate the complementary activity of various tufa-building communities specific to each of the seven tufa falls on the Krka River, and that each waterfall has a unique sample of the presence and abundance of those organisms. Researching tufa deposition on the natural and artificial surfaces shows that the Krka River has a very high tufa-building potential on all its waterfalls, and that the intensity of this process depends on the specific environmental conditions and biological components, varying from low to very high, but is never negative.<\/p>\n<p>Living and viable tufa-building communities, tufa-building mosses and conglomerates of cyanobacteria responsible for encrusting tufa were recorded at all the waterfalls, in addition to a wealth of macrozoobenthos fauna that contributes to the process of calcite mineral deposition.<\/p>\n<p>An additional experimental plot was installed at Skradinski buk downstream of the waterfalls, at the locality where the swimming area was previously located. It shows the recent formation of tufa on living moss communities, and on old blocks in the main river channel and alongside it.<\/p>\n<p>Also at this locality, in addition to the moss and cyanobacteria tufa, large colonies of green algae have developed on blocks of old tufa along the main river. Of special note are the communities of the terrestrial green alga <em>Trentepohlia aurea<\/em>, a species first recorded in the Krka River area in 1890, making this the oldest record of a terrestrial algal species in Croatia (Hansgrig 1890). In later research, this species was not recorded up until now, 30 years later, again in the same area.
