U sklopu projekta \u201eUtvr\u0111ivanje stanja ciljnog stani\u0161nog tipa speleolo\u0161kog objekta Jama nasuprot Torka s naglaskom na vrstu Marifugia cavatica<\/em>\u201c Hrvatsko biospeleolo\u0161ko dru\u0161tvo (HBSD) ove je godine provelo biospeleolo\u0161ko i speleoronila\u010dko istra\u017eivanje speleolo\u0161kog objekta Jama nasuprot Torka, koji se nalazi unutar granica NP \u201eKrka\u201c.<\/p>\n

To je nastavak istra\u017eivanja koje je HBSD proveo u NP \u201eKrka\u201c i Jami nasuprot Torka ranijih godina kojim je upotpunjen popis utvr\u0111enih \u0161piljskih svojti i procijenjeno njihovo stanje a sam speleolo\u0161ki objekt istra\u017een za dodatnih 14,5 m novog kanala.<\/p>\n

Tijekom tri speleoronila\u010dka terena 2023. godine Jama nasuprot Torka u potpunosti je istra\u017eena: za prvog terenskog izlaska otvoren je prolaz, a u sljede\u0107im dvama u potpunosti je istra\u017een i topografski nacrtan novi pukotinski kanal. Nova dubina jame sada iznosi 34 m.<\/p>\n

Biospeleolo\u0161ka istra\u017eivanja provedena su u podzemnom jezeru a bila su usmjerena na vrstu dinarskog \u0161piljskog cjeva\u0161a (M. cavatica)<\/em>. Fotografirane su i videosnimkama dokumentirane nakupine vrste M. cavatica<\/em> radi usporedbe stanja populacije s onim ranijih godina. U svim potopljenim dijelovima gdje ima cjeva\u0161a potvr\u0111eno je da je populacija \u017eiva i stabilna i da naseljava stijene i sige od povr\u0161ine do dna jezera. Dok je istra\u017eivanje trajalo, u dva je \u00a0navrata zabilje\u017eena prisutnost \u010dovje\u010dje ribice (P. anguinus<\/em>): u travnju su vi\u0111ena dva primjerka, a za posljednjeg ronjenja u rujnu jedan, i to u novoistra\u017eenom kanalu na dnu jame. Potvr\u0111eni nalazi \u010dovje\u010dje ribice ukazuju na to da je voda u Jami nasuprot Torka pogodno stani\u0161te za vodenu (stigobiontnu) faunu.<\/p>\n

Za dugoro\u010dno pra\u0107enje (monitoring) stanja cjeva\u0161a postavljene su tri trajne plohe od razli\u010dita materijala ozna\u010dene mjerilom. Te \u0107e plohe omogu\u0107iti kvalitetnije pra\u0107enje naseljavanja i rasta vrste M. cavatica <\/em>u nadolaze\u0107im godinama.<\/p>\n

Projekt HBSD-a doprinosi razumijevanju ekologije i o\u010duvanja speleolo\u0161kih objekata te pru\u017ea smjernice za budu\u0107e akcije u svrhu za\u0161tite ovog posebnog stani\u0161ta.<\/p>\n

\nA biospeleological and speleological investigation of the speleological cave structure of Jama opposite Torak<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project \u201cDetermining the state of the target habitat type of speleological structure Jama (Cave) opposite Torak, with an emphasis on the species Marifugia cavatica<\/em>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of the project \u201cDetermining the state of the target habitat type of speleological structure Jama (Cave) opposite Torak, with an emphasis on the species Marifugia cavatica<\/em>\u201d, the Croatian Biospeleological Society (HBSD) conducted a biospeleological and speleological investigation in 2023 of the speleological cave structure of Jama opposite Torak, which is located within the boundaries of the Krka National Park.<\/p>\n

This represents a continuation of the research that HBSD conducted in the Krka National Park and the cave of Jama opposite Torak in previous years, which completed the list of established cave taxa, and assessed their condition, while the speleological structure itself was investigated in an additional 14.5 metres of a new channel.<\/p>\n

During three caving and diving campaigns in 2023, the cave called Jama opposite Torak was fully explored; in the first field campaign, a passage was opened, and in the next two, a new crack\/channel was fully explored and topographically drawn. The new registered depth of the cave is now 34 metres.<\/p>\n

Biospeleological research was conducted in the underground lake and focused on the Dinaric cave tubeworm species (M. cavatica<\/em>). Clusters of the M. cavatica<\/em> species were photographed and videotaped in order to compare the state of the population from earlier years. In all submerged areas where there are tubeworms, it was confirmed that the population is alive and stable, inhabiting the rocks and reaching from the surface to the bottom of the lake. On two occasions during the investigations, the presence of olm or proteus (P. anguinus<\/em>) was recorded. During the first visit in April, two specimens were seen, and during the last dive in September, one specimen was seen in the newly explored channel at the bottom of the cave. Confirmed findings of olms indicate that the water in the cave of Jama opposite Torak is a suitable habitat for aquatic (stygobiont) fauna.<\/p>\n

For long-term monitoring of the condition of the tubeworms, three permanent panels of different materials marked with a scale were installed. These panels will enable better monitoring of the inhabitation and growth of the M. cavatica<\/em> species in the coming years.<\/p>\n

This project contributes to understanding of the ecology and preservation of speleological structures, and further provides guidelines for future activities to protect this special habitat.<\/p>\n
