U dva festivalska dana posjetitelji su mogli pogledati \u010detiri inspirativna dokumentarca i poslu\u0161ati dvije panel-rasprave, u kojima su istaknuti sugovornici poslali va\u017ene poruke o klimatskim promjenama i ulozi medija u \u0161irenju svijesti o njima u javnosti<\/strong><\/p>\n

Drugog dana Green Eye Festival odveo je posjetitelje u bogati ekosustav otoka Sable u filmu Geografije samo\u0107e<\/em> (Geographies of Solitude<\/em>), u kojemu je ekolo\u0161ka aktivistica Zoe Lucas ispri\u010dala nevjerojatnu pri\u010du o tamo\u0161njoj prirodi. Potom je uslijedila panel-rasprava, u kojoj su iznesena razna mi\u0161ljenja o stanju i perspektivama prirode i ekosustava. Sudionici su razmijenili svoja mi\u0161ljenja i iskustva o odnosu medija i za\u0161tite okoli\u0161a, o aktivizmu poznatih osoba u apostrofiranju ekolo\u0161kih tema i o tehnologiji koja nam omogu\u0107uje detaljan uvid u svijet koji nas okru\u017euje.<\/p>\n

Aljo\u0161a Dupli\u0107 iz Zavoda za za\u0161titu okoli\u0161a i prirode naglasio je ozbiljnost okoli\u0161ne krize izazvane ljudskim aktivnostima. Istaknuo je potrebu za hitnim i odlu\u010dnim promjenama u na\u010dinu na koji se odnosimo prema okoli\u0161u. Konkretno, istaknuo je potrebu za smanjenjem morskog otpada na obalama otoka i podr\u017eao dono\u0161enje Uredbe Europskog parlamenta o obnovi prirode.<\/p>\n

Dunja Mazzocco Drvar iz WWF (engl.<\/em> World Wide Fund for Nature) Adria iznijela je alarmantne podatke o ugro\u017eenim vrstama i stanju okoli\u0161a u Hrvatskoj i \u0161ire. Naglasila je va\u017enost edukacije i podizanja svijesti o okoli\u0161u, ne samo kroz postupke zbrinjavanja otpada, ve\u0107 i kroz razumijevanje ekosustava i njihove vrijednosti.<\/p>\n

Vinko Bre\u0161an, redatelj, govorio je o ulozi filmske industrije u promociji o\u010duvanja prirode. Istaknuo je da filmovi imaju potencijal da promoviraju potrebu za ravnote\u017eom izme\u0111u ljudi i prirode i da pritom prika\u017eu koliko je dru\u0161tvo ovisno o prirodnim resursima.<\/p>\n

Leon Lu\u010dev, glumac porijeklom s otoka, iznio je svoje dojmove o filmu i usporedio \u017eivot na otoku nekad i sad. Istaknuo je va\u017enost uklju\u010divanja poznatih osoba u edukaciju i aktivizam za o\u010duvanje okoli\u0161a.<\/p>\n

Tomislav Krni\u0107, koscenarist, snimatelj dokumentarne serije o ekolo\u0161ki odr\u017eivoj poljoprivredi, govorio je o svojem iskustvu u radu s obiteljima koje se bave ekolo\u0161kom poljoprivredom, istaknuv\u0161i napredak u tehnologiji snimanja filmova, \u0161to je omogu\u0107ilo podizanje svijesti publike o izazovima okoli\u0161ne krize.<\/p>\n

Nella Slavica, ravnateljica Javne ustanove \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c, govorila je o va\u017enosti edukacije o ekolo\u0161kim temama i ulozi medija u tomu, istaknuv\u0161i potrebu za suradnjom izme\u0111u razli\u010ditih sektora radi postizanja odr\u017eivijeg razvoja za sve u budu\u0107nosti. JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c tijekom cijele godine radi na \u0161irenju svijesti o potrebi za\u0161tite okoli\u0161a kroz edukativne filmove o biljnom i \u017eivotinjskom svijetu Nacionalnog parka, ali i o vrijednoj kulturnopovijesnoj ba\u0161tini i tradiciji. Kroz svakodnevnu komunikaciju na dru\u0161tvenim mre\u017eama isti\u010du se pozitivne prakse i upu\u0107uje poziv lokalnoj zajednici na suradnju u zajedni\u010dkoj brizi o okoli\u0161u. Kao platforma za promicanje okoli\u0161ne svijesti u javnosti, Green Eye vrhunac je tih cjelogodi\u0161njih nastojanja. Vjerujemo da je ispunio svoju ulogu. Zahvaljujemo sudionicima i posjetiteljima na sudjelovanju i anga\u017emanu u za\u0161titi prirode.<\/p>\n

\nDuring the two days of the festival, visitors could watch four inspiring documentaries and listen to two panel discussions, in which prominent speakers sent important messages about climate change and the role of the media in spreading awareness about it among the public<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the second day, the Green Eye Festival took visitors to the rich ecosystem of Sable Island in the film Geographies of Solitude<\/em>, in which environmental activist Zoe Lucas told an incredible story about the nature there.<\/p>\n

A panel discussion followed, where various opinions were expressed about the state of and perspectives for nature and the ecosystem. The participants exchanged their opinions and experiences on the relationship between the media and environmental protection, on the activism of famous people in apostrophizing environmental topics, and on the technology that allows us a detailed insight into the world that surrounds us.<\/p>\n

Aljo\u0161a Dupli\u0107 from the Institute for Environmental and Nature Protection emphasized the seriousness of the environmental crisis caused by human activities. He emphasized the need for urgent and decisive changes in the way we treat the environment. In particular, he emphasized the need to reduce marine litter on the shores and supported the adoption of a European Parliament Regulation on nature restoration.<\/p>\n

Dunja Mazzocco Drvar from the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) Adria presented alarming data about endangered species and the state of the environment in Croatia and beyond. She emphasized the importance of education and increasing environmental awareness, not only through waste disposal procedures, but also through understanding ecosystems and their value.<\/p>\n

Vinko Bre\u0161an, a film director, spoke about the role of the film industry in the promotion of nature conservation. He noted that films have the potential to promote the need for a balance between humans and nature, while also showing how society is dependent on natural resources.<\/p>\n

Leon Lu\u010dev, an actor originally from an island, expressed his impressions of the film and compared life on islands then and now. He emphasized the importance of involving well-known people in education and activism for environmental protection. Tomislav Krni\u0107, a co-writer, and cameraman of a documentary series on ecologically sustainable agriculture, spoke about his experience in working with families engaged in ecological agriculture, highlighting the progress in filmmaking technology, which has made it possible to elevate the awareness of an audience to the challenges of the environmental crisis.<\/p>\n

Nella Slavica, the director of the Krka National Park, spoke about the importance of education on environmental topics and the role of the media in this, stressing the need for cooperation between different sectors in order to achieve more sustainable development for everyone in the future. Throughout the entire year, the Krka National Park works to spread awareness about the necessity of environmental protection through educational films about the flora and fauna of the National Park, but also about its valuable cultural-historical heritage and traditions. Through everyday communication on social networks, positive practices are highlighted, and the local community is invited to cooperate in joint care of the environment. As a platform for promoting environmental awareness among the public, Green Eye represents the culmination of these year-long efforts. We believe that it has fulfilled its role. We thank the participants and visitors for their participation and engagement in the protection of nature.<\/p>\n
