[hr]Prvi dan Green Eye Festivala protekao je u znaku inspirativnih dokumentaraca i zanimljive panel-rasprave o klimatskim promjenama<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planet Zemlja jedino je tlo pod nogama koje imamo. Zato je Festival simboli\u010dno otvorio dokumentarac Zajedni\u010dko tlo <\/em>(Common Ground<\/em>), koji istra\u017euje put prema ekolo\u0161kom uzgoju hrane i obnovi na\u0161eg zdravlja i okoli\u0161a.<\/p>\n

U popodnevnim satima posjetitelji \u0107e mo\u0107i pogledati jo\u0161 dva dokumentarca: u 17 sati Uspon dubina <\/em>(Deep Rising)<\/em>, pri\u010du o geopoliti\u010dkim, znanstvenim i korporativnim intrigama, koja istra\u017euje svjetsku energetsku krizu i njezin utjecaj na duboko oceansko dno, klju\u010dno za na\u0161 opstanak, a u 19 sati Sve \u0161to di\u0161e <\/em>(All That Breathes<\/em>), dokumentarac nominiran za Oskara, koji govori o dvojici bra\u0107e koja su posvetila \u017eivot borbi za za\u0161titu crnih lunja, veli\u010danstvenih ptica grabljivica, klju\u010dnih za ekosustav New Delhija.<\/p>\n

Prvi dan obilje\u017eila je i panel-rasprava u kojoj su istaknuti stru\u010dnjaci iz razli\u010ditih sektora raspravljali o pitanjima vezanim za o\u010duvanje okoli\u0161a i odr\u017eivi razvoj, kako bi sudionici i publika stekli dublji uvid u ekolo\u0161ke izazove s kojima se Hrvatska suo\u010dava.<\/p>\n

Igor Kreitmeyer, ravnatelj Uprave za za\u0161titu prirode Ministarstva gospodarstva i odr\u017eivog razvoja, naglasiv\u0161i va\u017enost obnove prirode, predstavio je prijedlog uredbe Europske komisije koja bi pridonijela oporavku naru\u0161ene prirode u Europskoj uniji. Govorio je i o primjenjivosti koncepta regenerativne poljoprivrede u Hrvatskoj i njegovoj uskla\u0111enosti sa za\u0161ti\u0107enim podru\u010djima.<\/p>\n

Anamarija Matak, ravnateljica Uprave za procjenu utjecaja na okoli\u0161 i odr\u017eivo gospodarenje otpadom Ministarstva gospodarstva i odr\u017eivog razvoja, navela je probleme povezane s kemijskim proizvodima u industrijskoj poljoprivredi i divljim odlagali\u0161tima, istaknuv\u0161i va\u017enost njihova pra\u0107enja i nadzora u Hrvatskoj.<\/p>\n

Danijel Mileta, zamjenik gradona\u010delnika \u0160ibenika, govorio je o poticanju regenerativne poljoprivrede u svom gradu, navev\u0161i kao projekt \u201e\u0160ibenik \u2013 Zero Waste City\u201c kao primjer za rje\u0161avanje problema zbrinjavanja otpada u urbanim sredinama.<\/p>\n

Dra\u017eenka Stipani\u010dev, voditeljica Glavnog laboratorija za vode u Institutu za vode \u201eJosip Juraj Strossmayer\u201c, upozorila je na izazove vezane za o\u010duvanje bogatih zaliha vode u Hrvatskoj, uklju\u010duju\u0107i potencijalne prijetnje i mogu\u0107nost iscrpljivanja tih resursa.<\/p>\n

Nediljko Duji\u0107, predsjednik Uprave Hrvatskih \u0161uma, govorio je o deforestaciji i ranjivosti \u0161uma zbog klimatskih promjena.<\/p>\n

Rasprava je obuhvatila \u0161irok raspon tema, zahvaljuju\u0107i kojim se mogao dobiti dobar uvid u va\u017ena pitanja vezana za o\u010duvanje okoli\u0161a i odr\u017eivi razvoj u Hrvatskoj. Posebno zahvaljujemo u\u010denicima \u0161ibenskih srednjih \u0161kola, Gimnazije Antuna Vran\u010di\u0107a, Medicinske i Ekonomske \u0161kole, i njihovim profesorima koji su prisustvovali projekcijama i panel-raspravi, te su i sami odr\u017eali debatu nakon \u0161to su pogledali filmove. To i jest pravi smisao Green Eye Festivala: potaknuti na promi\u0161ljanje i djelovanje, pogotovo mlade, koji trebaju biti nositelj pozitivnih promjena u budu\u0107nosti.<\/p>\n

Rasprava se nastavlja i sutra u 13 sati, kada \u0107e novi panelisti razgovarati o ulozi kulture filma i medija u edukaciji o va\u017enosti za\u0161tite prirode i okoli\u0161a. Prije toga, u 11:15, bit \u0107e prikazan dokumentarac Geografije samo\u0107e<\/em>, pobjednik Berlinalea 2022.<\/p>\n

\nThe first day of the Green Eye Festival was marked by inspiring documentaries and an interesting panel discussion on climate change<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planet Earth is the only ground under our feet that we have. That is why the Festival was symbolically opened with the documentary Common Ground<\/em>, which explores the path towards ecological food cultivation and the restoration of our health and environment.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, visitors will be able to watch two more documentaries: at 5 pm, Deep Rising<\/em>, a story of geopolitical, scientific, and corporate intrigue, which explores the world energy crisis and its impact on the deep ocean floor, crucial for our survival, and at 7 pm, All That Breathes<\/em>, an Oscar-nominated documentary about two brothers who have dedicated their lives to fight to protect black kites, majestic birds of prey that are key to the ecosystem of New Delhi.<\/p>\n

The first day also featured a panel discussion in which prominent experts from various sectors discussed issues related to environmental protection and sustainable development, so that participants and the audience could gain a deeper insight into the environmental challenges that Croatia is facing.<\/p>\n

Igor Kreitmeyer, director of the Directorate for Nature Protection of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, emphasizing the importance of nature restoration, presented a proposal for a European Commission regulation that would contribute to the recovery of damaged nature in the European Union. He also spoke about the applicability of the concept of regenerative agriculture in Croatia, and its compatibility with protected areas.<\/p>\n

Anamarija Matak, director of the Directorate for Environmental Impact Assessment and Sustainable Waste Management of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, noted the problems associated with chemical products in industrial agriculture and unauthorized landfills, stressing the importance of their monitoring and supervision in Croatia.<\/p>\n

Danijel Mileta, deputy mayor of \u0160ibenik, spoke about encouraging regenerative agriculture in his city and its region, citing the project \u201c\u0160ibenik – Zero Waste City\u201d as an example of solving the problem of waste disposal in urban areas.<\/p>\n

Dra\u017eenka Stipani\u010dev, head of the Main Water Laboratory at the \u201cJosip Juraj Strossmayer\u2019 Water Institute, warned of challenges related to the preservation of the rich fresh water supplies in Croatia, including potential threats to and the possibility of depletion of these resources.<\/p>\n

Nediljko Duji\u0107, president of the Croatian Forests Board, spoke about deforestation and the vulnerability of forests due to climate change. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, thanks to which it is possible to gain a good insight into important issues related to environmental protection and sustainable development in Croatia.<\/p>\n

We offer special thanks to the students of several secondary schools in \u0160ibenik, the Antun Vran\u010di\u0107 High School, the School of Medicine, and the School of Economics, and their teachers who attended the screenings and the panel discussion, and who themselves held a debate after watching the films. This is the true meaning of the Green Eye Festival: to encourage reflection and action, especially among young people, who should be the bearers of positive changes in the future.<\/p>\n

The discussion will continue tomorrow at 1 pm, when new panelists will discuss the role of film and the media in education about the importance of protecting nature and the environment. Before that, at 11:15 am, the documentary Geographies of Solitude<\/em>, winner of the Berlinale 2022, will be shown.<\/p>\n
