Obje zemlje preuzele su obvezu transformiranja prema odr\u017eivu gospodarskom razvoju s naglaskom na promicanje bioraznolikosti, borbu s invazivnim stranim vrstama i o\u010duvanje sedrenih barijera<\/strong><\/p>\n

U uzvratnom posjetu \u0161panjolskoj pokrajini Castilla-La Mancha bili su izaslanstvo Ministarstva gospodarstva i odr\u017eivog razvoja, ravnatelji nacionalnih parkova \u201eKrka\u201c i \u201ePlitvi\u010dka jezera\u201c i predstavnici Hrvatskih \u0161uma. Dio susreta odr\u017ean je u regionalnom Ministarstvu odr\u017eiva razvoja, gdje je hrvatsku delegaciju na \u010delu s ravnateljem Uprave za za\u0161titu prirode Ministarstva gospodarstva i odr\u017eivog razvoja Igorom Kreitmeyerom primio ministar odr\u017eiva razvoja Jos\u00e9 Luis Escudero.<\/p>\n

Stru\u010dnjaci iz obiju delegacija raspravljali su o potrebi o\u010duvanja bioraznolikosti, o rizicima od invazivnih stranih vrsta i o ugro\u017eenosti sedrenih barijera i mogu\u0107nostima njihove obnove u suradnji sa znanstvenicima. Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c podijelila je svoje bogato iskustvo o\u010duvanja sedrenih barijera i borbe s invazivnom vrstom pajasen, istaknuv\u0161i pritom va\u017enost o\u010duvanja izuzetne bioraznolikosti na svom prostoru kao preduvjeta za opstojnost prirode.<\/em> Po o\u010duvanoj prirodi Republika Hrvatska spada me\u0111u najbogatije zemlje Europe: za\u0161ti\u0107ena priroda jedna je od na\u0161ih najve\u0107ih vrijednosti.<\/p>\n

U Parku prirode Lagunas de Ruidera hrvatsku delegaciju primili su glavni direktor za okoli\u0161 i bioraznolikost regionalnog Ministarstva odr\u017eiva razvoja F\u00e9lix Romero i izaslanica Odbora zajednice u Ciudad Realu Carmen Teresa Olmedo. Imaju\u0107i u vidu sli\u010dnosti izme\u0111u na\u0161ih parkova, koji su ranije potpisali Memorandum o suradnji, te polazi\u0161nu osnovu suradnje koja odre\u0111uje o\u010duvanje prirodnih vrijednosti i prilagodbu klimatskim promjenama, obje strane iskazale su interes za kontinuiranu suradnju, posebno u kontekstu za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja visoke posje\u0107enosti. Kada je rije\u010d o prilagodbi na klimatske promjene i rizicima koje treba smanjiti, suradnja je fokusirana na borbu protiv \u0161umskih po\u017eara i odr\u017eivo gospodarenje \u0161umama, posebice s naglaskom na FSC certifikaciju \u0161uma koju obavlja neprofitna organizacija Forest Stewardship Council ili Vije\u0107e za nadzor \u0161uma.<\/p>\n

Ovaj institucionalni posjet odr\u017ean je kao nastavak suradnje izme\u0111u dviju dr\u017eava, zapo\u010dete u Republici Hrvatskoj u lipnju ove godine. Institucije Europske unije promi\u010du suradnju izme\u0111u tijela dr\u017eava \u010dlanica, a ova vrsta aktivnosti strate\u0161ka je prednost u smislu osiguravanja financijskih sredstava. U sklopu zavr\u0161nog doga\u0111aja susreta, hrvatska delegacija sudjelovala je na Prvom me\u0111unarodnom forumu o uslugama ekosustava, koji je uspostavljen kao platforma za dijalog javno-privatne suradnje izme\u0111u donositelja odluka, nevladinih organizacija i privatnog sektora.<\/p>\n

A delegation of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the directors of the Krka and Plitvice Lakes National Parks, and representatives of Croatian Forests visited the Spanish province of Castilla-La Mancha. Part of the meeting was held in the regional Ministry of Sustainable Development, where the Croatian delegation, headed by Igor Kreitmeyer, director of the Nature Conservation Directorate of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, was received by the Ministry of Sustainable Development Jos\u00e9 Luis Escudero.<\/p>\n

Experts from both delegations discussed the need for conservation of biodiversity, the risks from invasive alien species, and the threats to tufa barriers and opportunities to restore them in cooperation with scientists. The Public Institute of Krka National Park shared its wealth of experience in conserving and protecting tufa barriers and its effort to combat the spread of the tree of heaven, highlighting the importance of conserving the exceptional biodiversity found within the Park area as a condition for the survival of nature as a whole. Croatia is one of the top countries in Europe in terms of conservated nature: and protected nature is one of the nation\u2019s top priorities.<\/p>\n

At the Lagunas de Ruidera Nature Park, the Croatian delegation was received by the director for environment and biodiversity of the regional Ministry of Sustainable Development F\u00e9lix Romero and the representative of the Board of Communities in Ciudad Real Carmen Teresa Olmedo. Keeping in mind the similarities between our Parks, which earlier signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, and based on the premise of cooperation defined by the need to preserve natural values and adapt to climate change, both sides expressed their interest to continue this cooperation, particularly in the context of highly visited protected areas. When referring to climate change adaptations and the risks that need to be reduced, the cooperation is focused on controlling forest wildfires and ensuring sustainable forest management, with a particular emphasis on FCS forest certification (performed by the non-profit organisation Forest Stewardship Council).<\/p>\n

This institutional visit was held as part of the ongoing cooperation between the two countries, which started in Croatia in June of this year. The institutions of the European Union promote cooperation between bodies of Member States, and this type of activity has a strategic edge in the sense of securing financing. As part of the final event of the meeting, the Croatian delegation participated in the First International Form on Ecosystem Services, set up as a platform for dialogue for public-private cooperation between decision-makers, non-governmental organisations, and the private sector.<\/p>\n
