Op\u0107oj konferenciji 2021., i ove se godine obilje\u017eava prvi put. Georaznolikost je svuda oko nas. Uklju\u010duje sve dijelove prirode koji nisu \u017eivi, od minerala i fosila, do tla i spektakularnih krajolika.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"NP Krka Kr\u0161\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uLabyckKHtM?start=6&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Iako se Krka i krajolik uz nju doimaju vje\u010dnima, ra\u0111anje rijeke i stvaranje kr\u0161a, oblikovanje zaravni, usijecanje kanjona i izdizanje sedrenih barijera trajalo je eonima ostaviv\u0161i nam tragove iz kojih danas i\u0161\u010ditavamo geolo\u0161ku pro\u0161lost toga prostora. Topivost karbonatnih stijena u vodi najva\u017eniji je uvjet za odvijanje procesa okr\u0161avanja. U su\u0161tini, to je kemijski proces koji se odvijao milijunima godina te traje i dalje. Tako iz stijena koje okru\u017eju rijeku Krku mo\u017eemo i\u0161\u010ditati njezinu geolo\u0161ku pro\u0161lost.<\/p>\n<p>[\/hr]<\/p>\n<p>[en]<br \/>\n<strong>First International Geodiversity Day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>International Geodiversity Day is a worldwide celebration, bringing people together on October 6, to promote the many aspects of geodiversity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was proclaimed by UNESCO at the 41<sup>st<\/sup> General Conference in 2021, and this year is celebrated for the first time. Geodiversity is all around you. It is all the parts of nature that aren&#8217;t alive; including everything from minerals and fossils, to soils and spectacular landscapes.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"NP Krka Kr\u0161\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uLabyckKHtM?start=6&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Although the Krka River and its landscape seem eternal, the birth of the river and the formation of karst, the creation of the plateau, the cutting of the canyons, and the construction of the travertine barriers lasted for eons, leaving traces today from which the geological past of the area can be read. The water solubility of carbonate rock is perhaps the most important condition for the karstification process. In essence, this is a chemical process that has taken place for millions of years, and is still ongoing.
