Novi projekt Javne ustanove \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c Nepoznata Krka: skrivena blaga gornjeg i srednjeg toka rijeke Krke predstavljen je javnosti na uvodnoj konferenciji odr\u017eanoj 16. listopada 2017. u Gradskoj knji\u017enici \u201eJuraj \u0160i\u017egori\u0107\u201c \u0160ibenik.<\/p>\n

Ukupna vrijednost Projekta iznosi 80.057.649,15 HRK, od \u010dega je 66.200.193,06 HRK sufinancirano iz Europskog fonda za regionalni razvoj u obliku bespovratnih sredstava u sklopu Operativnog programa Konkurentnost i kohezija (\u0161ifra Projekta KK.06.1.2.01.0003).<\/p>\n

\u201eProjekt\u00a0<\/strong>Nepoznata Krka<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0objedinjuje sve ono \u010dime se Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c kao upravlja\u010dka struktura bavi. Za\u0161tita prirode, odr\u017eivi razvoj i infrastrukturna ulaganja, upravljanje posjetiteljima, suradnja s lokalnom zajednicom te edukativne i prezentacijske aktivnosti objedinjene su u projekt koji \u0107e zasigurno pozitivno utjecati na ukupan razvoj cijelog podru\u010dja srednjeg i gornjeg toka rijeke Krke. Ideja samog projekta je da se potencijal Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c kao brenda iskoristi za privla\u010denje posjetitelja zainteresiranih prvenstveno za prirodnu i kulturnopovijesnu ba\u0161tinu i edukaciju, kojima \u0107emo ovim projektom ponuditi jedan druga\u010diji, potpuniji do\u017eivljaj Krke<\/strong>\u201c, istaknuo je mr. sc. Kre\u0161imir \u0160aki\u0107, ravnatelj JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c i voditelj projekta.<\/p>\n

Cilj Projekta je aktiviranje \u2013 izgradnjom infrastrukture i kapaciteta klju\u010dnih dionika i razvojem novih edukativnih posjetiteljskih proizvoda i usluga \u2013 neiskori\u0161tenog turisti\u010dkog i gospodarskog potencijala sjevernog dijela Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c i postizanje kvalitetnijeg prostornog i vremenskog rasporeda posjetitelja, te ukupni dru\u0161tveni, gospodarski i ekolo\u0161ki boljitak toga podru\u010dja.<\/p>\n

O razlozima prijave projekta\u00a0Nepoznata Krka<\/em>\u00a0govorila je Ivona Cvitan, rukovoditeljica Slu\u017ebe za turizam, promid\u017ebu, prezentaciju i ugostiteljstvo JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c, naglasiv\u0161i kako su dinamika rasta broja posjetitelja i infrastrukturni pritisci na lokalitetu Skradinski buk doveli do potrebe za prostornom i vremenskom disperzijom posjetitelja, tako da im se ponude kvalitetni sadr\u017eaji na uzvodnim lokalitetima Parka. Dr. sc. Drago Margu\u0161 \u2013 stru\u010dni voditelj JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c govorio je o utjecaju posjetitelja na okoli\u0161 i mjerama o\u010duvanja prirodne ba\u0161tine NP \u201eKrka\u201c te istaknuo va\u017enost preusmjeravanja posjetitelja kako bi se umanjili negativni u\u010dinci na osjetljiv ekosustav Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c i naglasio edukativnu komponentu projekta\u00a0Nepoznata Krka<\/em>, koja \u0107e glavninom biti realizirana kroz ure\u0111enje \u201eEko kampusa Krka\u201c u Puljanima.<\/p>\n

Projektom je predvi\u0111en niz infrastrukturnih intervencija unutar NP \u201eKrka\u201c, osmi\u0161ljavanje i uvo\u0111enje novih prezentacijskih i interpretacijskih sadr\u017eaja, poput izgradnje, ure\u0111enja i opremanja posjetiteljskog centra \u201eEko kampus Krka\u201c u Puljanima, interpretacijsko-edukacijskog i volonterskog centra, i opremanja Centra za interpretaciju prirode \u201eKrka \u2013 vrelo \u017eivota\u201c u Kistanjama, s likovnim i multimedijalnim interpretacijskim postavom, ure\u0111enje pje\u0161a\u010dkih staza, elektrifikacija brodskog prometa i unaprje\u0111enje sustava upravljanja sadr\u017eajima i posjetiteljima, u sklopu kojega su predvi\u0111ene brojne edukativne aktivnosti radi pove\u0107anja sigurnosti posjetitelja, ali i podizanja svijesti javnosti i dionika iz sektora obrazovanja, turizma i medija o prirodnim bogatstvima rijeke Krke i procesima vezanim za nju.<\/p>\n

Osmi\u0161ljavanjem tematskih proizvoda za posjetitelje i novih turisti\u010dkih sadr\u017eaja i njihovom promocijom u okviru ovoga projekta, nastoji se dodatno valorizirati turisti\u010dki potencijal gornjeg i srednjeg toka rijeke Krke i na taj na\u010din posjetiteljima pru\u017eiti jedinstven i cjelovit turisti\u010dki do\u017eivljaj.<\/p>\n

O utjecaju projekta na revalorizaciju posjetiteljske ponude JU \u201eNP Krka\u201c te na lokalnu i nacionalnu turisti\u010dku ponudu govorila je \u017deljana \u0160iki\u0107, direktorica Turisti\u010dke zajednice \u0160ibensko-kninske \u017eupanije koja je projektni partner.<\/p>\n

\u201eTurizam i za\u0161tita prirode nisu i ne mogu biti u divergentnom odnosu i s obzirom da je okru\u017eenje temeljni dio turisti\u010dke ponude destinacije, turizam ima za\u0161titu prirode kao svoj trajni i nepobitni interes. Zajedni\u010dki cilj u okviru ovog projekta je da boravak posjetitelja u za\u0161ti\u0107enom podru\u010dju bude u cilju istra\u017eivanja, obrazovanja i u\u017eivanja u okoli\u0161u, njegovim biljnim i \u017eivotinjskim vrstama kao i povezanim kulturnim elementima na tom prostoru<\/strong>\u201c, istaknula je.<\/p>\n

Tijekom konferencije uspostavljen je stru\u010dno-savjetodavni odbor kojeg \u010dine suradnici i klju\u010dni dionici projekta koji \u0107e biti zadu\u017eeni za kontinuirani monitoring i internu evaluaciju projekta: \u0160ibensko-kninska \u017eupanija, Grad Knin,Turisti\u010dka zajednica \u0160ibensko-kninske \u017eupanije, turisti\u010dke zajednice\u00a0Skradina, Drni\u0161a i Knina, Javna ustanova za upravljanje za\u0161ti\u0107enim podru\u010djima i drugim za\u0161ti\u0107enim dijelovima prirode \u0160ibensko-kninske \u017eupanije – Priroda, Javna ustanova \u201eRazvojna agencija \u0160ibensko-kninske \u017eupanije\u201c i Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c. Pristup odboru je otvoren pa se ostali dionici projekta mogu naknadno pridru\u017eiti.<\/p>\n

\nThe Unknown Krka \u2013 introductory conference<\/strong>
\nThe new project of the Public Institute of Krka National Park, entitled: The Unknown Krka: hidden treasures of the upper and middle course of the Krka River was presented to the public at the introductory conference held on 16 October 2017.<\/p>\n

The total value of the project is HRK 80,057,649.15, of which HRK 66,200,193.06 was cofinanced from the European Regional Development Fund through grants as part of the Operational programme Competitiveness and Cohesion (project code no. KK.06.1.2.01.0003).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe project\u00a0<\/strong>Unknown Krka<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0brings together all the work that the Public Institute of Krka National Park does as a management entity. Nature conservation, sustainable development and infrastructure investments, visitor management, cooperation with the local community, and educational and presentation activities have all come together in this project, which is sure to positively impact the overall development of the entire region encompassing the upper and middle course of the Krka River. The idea of the project was to utilise the potential of the Krka National Park brand to attract visitors interested above all in nature, cultural and historical heritage and education. Through this project, we are offering a new and completely different experience of the Krka River<\/strong>,\u201d stated Kre\u0161imir \u0160aki\u0107, MSc, director of the Public Institute of Krka National Park, and the project leader.<\/p>\n

The objective of the project is to activate the unutilised tourism and economic potential of the northern sections of Krka National Park through the construction of infrastructure and capacities of key stakeholders, and through developing new educational products and service for visitors. The project will achieve a better quality spatial and temporal distribution of visitors, and overall social, economic and ecological wellbeing for the entire region.<\/p>\n

Ivona Cvitan, head of the Service for Tourism, Promotions, Presentation and Hospitality of the Public Institute of Krka National Park spoke about the reasons for applying for the\u00a0Unknown Krka<\/em>\u00a0project. She stated that the dynamic growth of visitors and the infrastructure pressures on Skradinski Buk led to a need to improve the spatial and temporal dispersion of visitors, and to offer attractive content in the upstream localities of the park. Dr. Drago Margu\u0161, scientific expert at the Public Institute of Krka National Park, spoke of the impact of visitors on the environment, and the measures to conserve the natural heritage of Krka National Park, stressing the importance of directing visitors in order to reduce the negative impacts on the sensitive ecosystems within the park. He also stressed the educational component of the project\u00a0Unknown Krka<\/em>, which will primarily unfold through the renovated Krka Eco Campus at Puljani.<\/p>\n

The project envisages a number of infrastructural works within the park boundaries, the design and introduction of new presentational and interpretational content, such as the construction and equipping of the visitor centre at the Krka Eco Campus at Puljani, the interpretational, educational and volunteer centre, equipping the Nature Interpretation Centre \u201cKrka \u2013 spring of life\u201d at Kistanje with graphic and multimedia interpretation collections, equipping walking trails, electrified boat transport and improving the system of managing content and visitors, which will include numerous educational activities, aimed at improving visitor safety, and raising awareness among the public and stakeholders in education, tourism and the media, on the natural wealth of the Krka River and all the processes associated with it.<\/p>\n

Within this project, the conception of thematic products for visitors and new tourism content and their promotion aim to further valorise the tourism potential of the upper and middle course of the Krka River, thus offering visitors a unique and integral tourism experience.<\/p>\n

\u017deljana \u0160iki\u0107, director of the \u0160ibenik-Knin County Tourist Board, a partner in this project, spoke about the impacts of the project on revalorising the content offered to visitors in the park, and on the local and national tourism offer. \u201cTourism and nature conservation are not and cannot be in divergent relations, and since our environment is a fundamental part of the what the tourism destination offers, tourism has a permanent interest in protecting nature. The common goal within the framework of this project is to ensure that visitors coming to this protected area have the opportunity to explore, learn about and enjoy the environment, its flora and fauna, and the associated cultural elements in that area<\/strong>,\u201d she stressed.<\/p>\n

During the conference, an expert advisory board was established, and is comprised of associates and key project stakeholders. The board will be responsible for ongoing monitoring and internal evaluation of the project. The board consists of: \u0160ibenik-Knin County, Town of Knin, \u0160ibenik-Knin County Tourist Board, Tourist Boards of Skradin, Drni\u0161 and Knin, Public Institution for the Management of Protected Areas and other Protected Natural Sites of \u0160ibenik-Knin County \u2013 Priroda, the Public Institution of the \u0160ibenik-Knin County Development Agency, and the Public Institute of Krka National Park. Access to the board is open, and other project stakeholders may join at a later date.
