Ograni\u010deni resursi vode, elementa nezamjenjiva za \u017eivot na Zemlji, ugro\u017eeni su zbog neodgovaraju\u0107eg upravljanja. Procjenjuje se da \u010dovje\u010danstvo mo\u017ee koristiti samo 1 % slatke vode od ukupne koli\u010dine vode na planetu. Voda ima osamdeset neobi\u010dnih svojstava koja su dijelom jo\u0161 uvijek enigma za znanost. Upravo kako bismo osvijestili va\u017enost vode za \u017eiva bi\u0107a, u dvosatnom dru\u017eenju s edukatorima Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c na pou\u010dno-pje\u0161a\u010dkoj stazi od Stinica, kod oto\u010di\u0107a Visovca, prema Visova\u010dkoj ku\u0107i \u201eKu\u017eelj\u201c u\u010denici razredne nastave P\u0160 Bilice nau\u010dili su vi\u0161e o pona\u0161anju podzemnih voda u kr\u0161kim podru\u010djima a od zadanih materijala napravili su kreativne filtre za vodu. Znati\u017eeljna i ozarena dje\u010dja lica pomno su pratila radionicu, u kojoj se na slikovit i djeci prilago\u0111en na\u010din govorilo i o tajnama kr\u0161koga podzemlja.<\/p>\n
Naime, tema ovogodi\u0161njeg obilje\u017eavanja Svjetskog dana voda je Podzemne vode \u2013 u\u010dinimo nevidljivo vidljivim<\/em>. Kr\u0161ki tereni zauzimaju oko 20 % povr\u0161ine Zemlje, a u Hrvatskoj obuhva\u0107aju gotovo 50 % njezine povr\u0161ine. Karakteriziraju ih \u0161pilje, jame i povr\u0161inski reljefni oblici koji zajedno tvore neobi\u010dne i spektakularne krajobraze. Kr\u0161ka podru\u010dja izvor su vode za oko 10 % svjetske populacije, stani\u0161ta rijetkih, ugro\u017eenih i endemi\u010dnih pripadnika \u017eivoga svijeta, izvor znanja o na\u0161em okoli\u0161u, klimatskim promjenama i mineralnim resursima, ali i podru\u010dja kulturne ba\u0161tine kao rezultata \u017eivota brojnih lokalnih zajednica u kr\u0161kim podru\u010djima te va\u017ena posjetiteljska odredi\u0161ta.<\/p>\n \u201eUz tok rijeke Krke stotinjak je \u0161pilja i jama, od toga \u0161ezdeset sedam na podru\u010dju Nacionalnog parka ‘Krka’. \u0160pilje dinarskog kr\u0161a najbogatije su na svijetu po broju \u0161piljskih vrsta, a 70 % njih su endemi Hrvatske. U speleolo\u0161kim objektima Parka zabilje\u017eeno je preko stotinu sedamdeset svojti, od kojih su mnoge endemi Dinarida i Hrvatske, a \u010detiri su endemi NP ‘Krka’ odnosno stenoendemi. Ve\u0107ina predstavnika \u0161piljske faune strogo su za\u0161ti\u0107ene vrste\u201c<\/strong>, naglasila je ravnateljica Javne ustanove \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c Nella Slavica te dodala: \u201eOsim Ozi\u0111ane pe\u0107ine, \u0161pilje i jame NP ‘Krka’ nisu otvorene za posje\u0107ivanje upravo zbog za\u0161tite stani\u0161ta i svojti i cjelokupnog podzemnog ekosustava.<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n Speleolo\u0161ki objekti i kr\u0161ki krajobrazi vrlo su osjetljivi na one\u010di\u0161\u0107enje, prekomjerno kori\u0161tenje prirodnih resursa i prostora, uni\u0161tavanje i lo\u0161e upravljanje. Zato javnost treba upoznati s \u010dinjenicom da je podzemni svijet va\u017ean za opstojnost cjelokupnog \u017eivota na Zemlji i ukazati na na\u010dine za\u0161tite kr\u0161kih podru\u010dja i odgovornog i odr\u017eivog upravljanja njima.<\/p>\n Svjetski dan voda\u00a0obilje\u017eava se 22. o\u017eujka. Ideja za obilje\u017eavanje toga dana nastala je 1992. godine u Rio de Janeiru na prijedlog UN-ove konferencije o okoli\u0161u i razvoju. Izuzetno je va\u017eno posvetiti pozornost ograni\u010denosti resursa pitke vode: \u010dak petina svjetskog stanovni\u0161tva nema pristup sigurnoj vodi zbog prekomjerna kori\u0161tenja, neodgovaraju\u0107eg upravljanja i zaga\u0111enja.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/hr]<\/p>\n [en] The limited resources of water, an element essential for life on Earth, are endangered due to their inadequate management. It is assessed that humanity can use just 1% of the freshwater of all the water on the planet. Water contains 80 unusual substances that are still partly an enigma to science. In order to raise awareness of the important of water for living beings, a two-hour workshop with the educators of Krka National Park at the held for the pupils of the Bilice district school at the educational walking trail from Stinice near Visovac Island towards the Ku\u017eelj Visovac House. The pupils learned more about the behaviour of ground water in karst areas, and made creative filters for water using different materials. The children were both curious and excited during the workshop, which focused on sharing the secrets of the karst underground with the children in a picturesque way.<\/p>\n The theme of this year\u2019s World Water Day is Groundwater \u2013 making the invisible visible<\/em>. Karst landscapes cover about 20% of the Earth\u2019s land surface, and cover nearly 50% of Croatia\u2019s land area. They are characterised by caves, pits and surface relief forms that together create unusual and spectacular landscapes. The karst areas are a source of water for about 10% of the global population, and are also habitats for rare, endangered and endemic species of the living world. Karst areas are a wealth of knowledge about our environment, climate change and mineral resources, and area of cultural heritage thanks to the life of numerous local communities in karst areas and their importance as tourism destinations.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are about 100 caves and pits along the course of the Krka River, and of these, 67 lie within the boundaries of Krka National Park. The caves of the Dinaric karst hold the highest biodiversity of cave species in the world, and 70% of these species are endemic to Croatia. In the speleological structures in the park, more than 170 species have been recorded, and many of these are endemic to the Dinaric Arc and to Croatia, and four are stenoendemic to Krka National Park. Most members of the cave fauna are strictly protected species,\u201d <\/strong>stated director of the Public Institute of Krka National Park, Nella Slavica. She added, \u201cWith the exception of<\/strong> Ozi\u0111ana pe\u0107ina cave, the caves and pits of Krka National Park are not open to visitors, in order to protect the habitats, taxa and complete subterranean ecosystem\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n The speleological structures and karst landscapes are highly vulnerable to pollution, excessive use of natural resources and space, destruction, and poor management. That is why the public needs to be made aware of the fact that the subterranean world is important for the survival of all of life of Earth, and we need to highlight the different ways to protect karst regions and to ensure their responsible and sustainable management.<\/p>\n World Water Day is celebrated on 22 March. The idea to celebrate this day arose at the 1992 UN Conference on the Environment and Development held in Rio de Janeiro.
