{"id":16279,"date":"2026-09-02T07:30:05","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T05:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/?p=16279"},"modified":"2026-09-03T10:01:51","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T08:01:51","slug":"istrazivanje-i-inventarizacija-entomofaune-sumskih-stanista-na-podrucju-np-krka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/en_us\/2026\/09\/02\/istrazivanje-i-inventarizacija-entomofaune-sumskih-stanista-na-podrucju-np-krka\/","title":{"rendered":"The investigation and inventorizing of the entomofauna of forest habitats in the region of the Krka National Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>During 2025 and 2026, the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of the University of Zagreb conducted entomofaunistic research in the most important forest communities in the Krka National Park to gain insight into the representation and condition of the insect fauna in the Park.<strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong><\/strong>In the area covered by the borders of the Krka National Park, eight species of longhorn beetles, five species of jewel beetles, two species of hairy rose beetles, and fourteen species of bark beetles have been identified, as well as one species each of auger beetles, click beetles, termites, ambrosia beetles, acorn weevil, and checkered beetles. The composition and abundance of insects established by the research confirmed their indicative value for the preservation of the forest habitat, with several NATURA 2000 species particularly noteworthy, such as the great capricorn beetle, (<em>Cerambyx cerdo<\/em>), the stag beetle (<em>Lucanus cervus<\/em>), and the hermit beetle (<em>Osmoderma barnabita<\/em>), the latter confirmed for the first time. At the Visovac Lake site (Ma\u010dkovici), a particularly interesting beech-jewel beetle (<em>Dicerca berolinensis<\/em>) was recorded, otherwise a Central European species that is less represented in the Croatian Adriatic region (only sporadic finds).<\/p>\n<p>Istra\u017eivanje je ukazalo na raznovrsnost i dobru zastupljenost \u0161umske entomofaune, \u0161to zna\u010di da su u NP Krka o\u010duvana tipi\u010dna i vrijedna \u0161umska stani\u0161ta.
