{"id":15148,"date":"2026-04-21T13:00:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T11:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/?p=15148"},"modified":"2026-04-22T07:07:43","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T05:07:43","slug":"suradnja-np-krka-i-sibensko-kninske-zupanije","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/en_us\/2026\/04\/21\/suradnja-np-krka-i-sibensko-kninske-zupanije\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooperation between Krka National Park and \u0160ibenik-Knin County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u0160ibenik-Knin County and Krka National Park strengthen their cooperation with the organisation of the International Labour Day festival and Agrotourism Fair.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0160ibenik-Knin County Prefect Pa\u0161ko Raki\u0107 and Public Institute of Krka National Park Director Nella Slavica signed a cooperation agreement today for the organisation of Labour Day celebrations at Skradinski buk, and a sponsorship agreement for the jubilee 15th \u0160ibenik-Knin County Agrotourism Fair in Skradin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u201c<strong>The County is continuing to invest in nurturing the relationship and strengthening cooperation with important institutions, especially in priority areas such as education and economic development, as well as environmental protection. Krka National Park holds a special place in the county, as it is one of Croatia\u2019s most visited national parks, attracting visitors from all over the world. The park invests in conserving its exceptional wealth of natural, cultural and historical heritage and biodiversity. With the agreements signed today, we further commit to supporting projects and initiatives that contribute to the continued development of our local communities<\/strong>\u201d, stated Prefect Raki\u0107, thanking Director Slavica for her continued support of the \u0160ibenik-Knin County Agrotourism Fair.<\/p>\n<p>The Agrotourism Fair in Skradin attracts increasing numbers of presenters and visitors each year. The fair promotes homegrown and locally made products, and the development of traditional production and rural tourism. Under the slogan Treasures Here, this year's edition lasts three days, from 30 April to 2 May, and will be held at three locations in town \u2013 on the main site as to date, on the Mala Gospa Square, and on the Skradin waterfront at the Kneza Domagoja Square.<\/p>\n<p>The diverse programme includes a workshop for children entitled \u201cThread by thread to an apron\u201d on the morning of Saturday, 2 May. The workshop is organised by Krka National Park and is dedicated to different traditional techniques of hand weaving, to teach children about traditional skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>Today, a Cooperation Agreement was also signed for the organisation of International Labour Day celebrations at Skradinski buk. The agreement lays out the details surrounding this traditional event that attracts a large crowd every year. The Agreement includes free entrance for all individual visitors, a free portion of bean stew, and and free boat transport from Skradin and bus transport from Lozovac.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u201c<strong>In addition to celebrating Labour Day at Skradinski buk, we are continuing our initiative to hand out free native plant seedlings. This has become a tradition at Krka National Park. For the fourth year in a row, we will be handing out seedlings of native plant species that visitors can plant in their gardens at home, thereby actively contributing to conserving the environment.
