{"id":14553,"date":"2026-01-30T12:13:47","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T11:13:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/?p=14553"},"modified":"2026-01-30T12:13:47","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T11:13:47","slug":"istrazivanje-i-inventarizacija-gljiva-sumskih-stanista-na-podrucju-np-krka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/en_us\/2026\/01\/30\/istrazivanje-i-inventarizacija-gljiva-sumskih-stanista-na-podrucju-np-krka\/","title":{"rendered":"The research and inventory of forest habitat fungi in the Krka National Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">The scientific project \"The research and inventory of forest habitat fungi in the Krka National Park\" was intended to investigate the biodiversity of aboveground and underground species from the two largest fungal divisions, <em> Ascomycota<\/em> (askomiceti) and <em>Basidiomycota <\/em>(bazidiomiceti), in the Krka National Park, and was conducted by Dr. \u017deljko Zgrabli\u0107, Dr. Armin Me\u0161i\u0107, Dr. Zdenko Tkal\u010dec, Dr. Ivana Ku\u0161an, and Neven Mato\u010dec.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Field research as part of this project was carried out in May, June, October and November 2024, and in April 2025 at nineteen different locations, and lasted a total of eleven days. The selected locations included the most important, i.e. the most developed and best preserved forest habitats in the Park. During the research, 184 fungal specimens were found, and 101 species were taxonomically identified. From the <em>Basidiomycota<\/em> division, 127 specimens were found and 61 species were identified, while from the <em>Ascomycota<\/em> division, 57 specimens were found and 40 species of fungi were identified. From the <em>Ascomycota<\/em> division, six specimens of subterranean fungi were found, and three species were identified.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">A total of eleven species of mushrooms were found in the research \u2013 <em>Cortinarius aprinus<\/em>, <em>Cortinarius leproleptopus<\/em>, <em>Hygrocybe amara<\/em>, <em>Incrucipulum ciliare<\/em>,<em> Incrucipulum ciliare<\/em>,<em> Inocybe griseolilacina<\/em>,<em> Inocybe tigrina<\/em>,<em> Melanoleuca pseudoluscina<\/em>,<em> Mollisia asteroma<\/em>,<em> Orbilia fissilis<\/em>,<em> Plicariella flavovirens <\/em>i<em> Urnula mediterranea <\/em>\u2013 and one genus (<em>Plicariella<\/em> (Sacc.) Rehm)  that had not been recorded in Croatia before, which is a significant contribution to the knowledge of the biodiversity of our country. Nine of the discovered species are on the Red List of Mushrooms of Croatia (i.e. have the status of endangered species), and eight of them are strictly protected by law.
