[hr]Nastavak vi\u0161egodi\u0161njeg pra\u0107enja stanja \u0161umskih zajednica na podru\u010dju Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pra\u0107enje stanja zna\u010dajnih \u0161umskih zajednica na podru\u010dju NP \u201eKrka\u201c u 2024. i 2025. godini proveo je Hrvatski \u0161umarski institut, istra\u017eiva\u010dka ustanova sa sjedi\u0161tem u Jastrebarskom, kao nastavak vi\u0161egodi\u0161njeg pra\u0107enja stanja \u0161umskih ekosustava. Istra\u017eivanja su obavljena na pokusnim plohama u petorima \u0161umskim zajednicama na razli\u010ditim lokalitetima: sjemenja\u010de hrasta medunca u predjelu Stinice, sastojine hrasta crnike u predjelu Ma\u010dkovica, sastojine alepskog bora u predjelu \u017duri\u0107a brdo, poplavnih \u0161uma poljskog jasena kod manastira Krka i \u0161ume hrasta medunca i crnoga graba u predjelu HE Miljacka.<\/p>\n

Glavna prijetnja \u0161umskim ekosustavima je mogu\u0107nost pojave \u0161umskog po\u017eara, posebno u \u0161umama alepskoga bora, koje su najugro\u017eenije. Stoga se preporu\u010duje da se u pojedinim predjelima provedu mjere prorede sastojine i sanitarne sje\u010de. U\u010dinak bi bio dvojak: smanjila bi se goriva masa i oslobodio prostor (svjetlo) za autohtone, klimazonalne vrste kao \u0161to su hrast crnika i hrast medunac.<\/p>\n

Istra\u017eivanjem je utvr\u0111ena prisutnost stranih invazivnih biljnih vrsta, primarno pajasena, zatim nagundovca i gledi\u010dije, koje u ovoj fazi nisu ve\u0107a prijetnja, no sigurno je da \u0107e se njihova brojnost i pokrovnost u budu\u0107nosti pove\u0107ati, tako da \u0107e i njih trebati sustavno uklanjati.<\/p>\n

\u0160umske sastojine hrasta medunca i hrasta crnike (na Stinicama i Ma\u010dkovici) dobro su o\u010duvane. Stara stabla jo\u0161 uvijek plodonose, me\u0111utim broj mladih i srednjodobnih stabala koja bi u budu\u0107nosti trebala zamijeniti stara stabla relativno je malen. Razlog tomu je gusta podstojna eta\u017ea bjelograbi\u0107a, koji zatvara sklop i ote\u017eava razvoj mladih biljaka medunca i crnike. Zbog toga je u tom dijelu potrebno obaviti njegu sastojine \u010di\u0161\u0107enjem podstojne eta\u017ee bjelogrbi\u0107a da bi pomladak hrasta mogao rasti i razvijati se. Tako\u0111er je va\u017eno na tim lokalitetima provoditi redovite mjere za\u0161tite od po\u017eara i odr\u017eavati prohodnost pristupnih putova i staza.<\/p>\n

Na mnogim je lokalitetima zamije\u0107ena prisutnost divlja\u010di, ali ne tolika da bi izravno ugro\u017eavala opstanak stani\u0161noga tipa, koji je prije svega potencijalno ugro\u017een klimatskim promjenama i po\u017earima.<\/p>\n

U cilju za\u0161tite i o\u010duvanja postoje\u0107eg povoljnog stanja \u0161umskih zajednica u Parku preporu\u010duje se daljnja provedba monitoringa \u0161uma i aktivnosti prorede, sanitarne sje\u010de i uklanjanja invazivnih vrsta.<\/p>\n

\nMulti-year monitoring of the state of forest communities in the area of the Krka National Park has continued<\/strong><\/p>\n

Monitoring of the state of significant forest communities in the area of \u200b\u200bthe Krka National Park in 2024 and 2025 was carried out by the Croatian Forestry Institute, a research institution based in Jastrebarsko, as a continuation of multi-year monitoring of the state of forest ecosystems. This monitoring was carried out in the Krka National Park in 2024 and 2025 on experimental plots in five forest communities in different locations: downy oak seedbeds in the Stinice area, holm oak stands in the Ma\u010dkovica area, Aleppo pine stands in the \u017duri\u0107a brdo area, narrow-leaved ash forests in the floodplain near the Krka monastery, and holm oak and black hornbeam forests in the Miljacka Hydroelectric Plant area.<\/p>\n

The main threat to forest ecosystems is the possibility of forest fires, especially in Aleppo pine forests, which are the most endangered. Therefore, it is recommended that thinning and sanitary felling measures be implemented in certain areas. The effect would be twofold: the fuel mass would be reduced and space (light) would be freed up for indigenous, climate-zoned species such as holm oak and downy oak.<\/p>\n

The research established the presence of alien invasive plant species, primarily tree-of-heaven, as well as box-elder maple and honey locust, which do not pose a major threat at this stage, but it is certain that their number and coverage will increase in the future, so they will also need to be systematically removed.<\/p>\n

The forest stands of downy oak and holm oak (on Stinice and Ma\u010dkovica) are well preserved. The old trees are still fruitful, but the number of young and middle-aged trees that should be replacing the old trees in the future is relatively small. The reason for this is the dense understory of white hornbeam, which closes off the forest structure and hinders the development of the young downy oak and holm oak plants to develop. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the stands in this area by clearing the understory of white hornbeams so that the young oaks can grow and develop. It is also important to implement regular fire protection measures in these locations and to maintain good condition of the access roads and trails.<\/p>\n

The presence of game has been observed in many locations, but not so much as to directly threaten the survival of the habitat type, which is primarily potentially threatened by climate change and fires.<\/p>\n

In order to protect and preserve the existing favorable state of forest communities in the Park, further implementation is recommended of forest monitoring, as well as thinning activities, sanitary felling, and the removal of invasive species.<\/p>\n
