[hr]Pozivamo vas da nam se pridru\u017eite na jedinstvenoj manifestaciji koja ve\u0107 sedamnaesti put o\u017eivljava duh antike na ovom prostoru \u2013 Burnumskim idama<\/em>, koje \u0107e se odr\u017eati u utorak, 12. kolovoza u 20:30 u impresivnom rimskom amfiteatru u Burnumu.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ovogodi\u0161nja tema \u201eVivere est militare\u201c (\u017divjeti zna\u010di boriti se) vodi nas u svakodnevicu rimskih legionara \u2013 njihovo vojno umije\u0107e, obi\u010daje i igre, ali i trenutke opu\u0161tanja od vojni\u010dkih obveza.<\/p>\n

Kao i svake godine, posjetitelji \u0107e mo\u0107i do\u017eivjeti autenti\u010dne prikaze rimskih vojnih vje\u017ebi, sudjelovati u radionicama za djecu i odrasle, izra\u0111ivati mozaike, pisati na vo\u0161tanim plo\u010dicama, igrati anti\u010dke igre te ku\u0161ati jela i napitke po receptima iz rimskog doba. Vrhunac ve\u010deri bit \u0107e scenska predstava \u201eSrce je ja\u010de od ma\u010da\u201c, emotivna pri\u010da iz \u017eivota rimskih vojnika, a potom i koncert Damira Urbana & 4 s guda\u010dkim kvartetom, koji \u0107e pod zvjezdanim nebom burnumskog amfiteatra spojiti glazbenu \u010daroliju s tisu\u0107ljetnom povije\u0161\u0107u.<\/p>\n

Ulaz je slobodan za sve posjetitelje<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Smje\u0161ten u sjevernom dijelu Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c, Burnum, rimski vojni logor s jedinim o\u010duvanim vojnim amfiteatrom u Hrvatskoj, arheolo\u0161ko je i kulturno blago Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c. Podignut je u 1. stolje\u0107u, kada se na ovom prostoru utaborila slavna XI. legija Claudia pia fidelis<\/em>, a nakon nje i IV. legija Flavia felix<\/em>. Nakon \u0161to je gotovo dvije tisu\u0107e godina bio skriven pod zemljom, Burnum je ponovno \u201eotkriven\u201c 2003. godine, \u010dime je zapo\u010dela nova faza sustavnih arheolo\u0161kih istra\u017eivanja. Danas Burnum \u010dine vojni logor, amfiteatar, vje\u017ebali\u0161te (kampus), rimski putovi i arheolo\u0161ka zbirka u Eko kampusu \u201eKrka\u201c u Puljanima, po \u010demu je ovaj lokalitet jedna od najva\u017enijih arheolo\u0161kih cjelina u regiji.<\/p>\n

Javna ustanova \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c ve\u0107 godinama razvija kulturni turizam kao sastavni dio svoje strategije odr\u017eiva razvoja. Cilj toga pristupa je za\u0161tititi kulturnopovijesnu ba\u0161tinu i uravnote\u017eiti prostorni i sezonski pritisak na lokalitete unutar Parka, a posebno rasteretiti Skradinski buk i usmjeriti posjetitelje prema manje poznatim, ali jednako vrijednim uzvodnim lokalitetima poput Burnuma. U suradnji s lokalnom zajednicom i stru\u010dnim institucijama, Park neprestano radi na revitalizaciji tradicijskih znanja i vje\u0161tina, prikupljanju kulturnopovijesne gra\u0111e o rijeci Krki, restauriranju muzejske ba\u0161tine i uklju\u010divanju posjetitelja u do\u017eivljaj kulturnog krajolika. Upravo zato lokaliteti poput Burnuma nisu samo arheolo\u0161ko blago, ve\u0107 i temelj odr\u017eivosti kulturnog identiteta ovog prostora.<\/p>\n

Burnumske ide<\/em> nisu samo doga\u0111aj \u2013 one su povratak u pro\u0161lost, u vrijeme drevnoga Rima, \u010diji se \u017eivot o\u017eivljava u sada\u0161njosti na mjestu na kojem se prirodne vrijednosti Krke susre\u0107u s anti\u010dkom ba\u0161tinom. Do\u017eivite duh staroga Rima, sudjelujte u rimskim obi\u010dajima, u\u017eivajte u umjetnosti pod zvijezdama, budite dio \u017eivu\u0107e povijesti.<\/p>\n

\nThe XVII Ides of Burnum: A return to the Roman period under the stars at Burnum<\/strong>
\nWe invite you to join us at a unique event that revives the spirit of antiquity in this area for the seventeenth time \u2013 the Ides of Burnum<\/em>, which will take place on Tuesday, August 12th<\/sup> at 8:30 pm in the impressive Roman amphitheater in Burnum.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s theme “Vivere est militare” (To live is to fight) takes us into the everyday life of the Roman legionaries \u2013 from their military skills, customs, and games, but also moments of relaxation from military obligations.<\/p>\n

Just like every year, visitors will be able to experience authentic depictions of Roman military exercises, participate in workshops for children and adults, make mosaics, write on wax tablets, play Roman games, and taste dishes and beverages based on recipes from the Roman era. The highlight of the evening will be the stage play “The Heart is Mightier Than the Sword”, an emotional story from the lives of Roman soldiers, followed by a concert by Damir Urban & 4 with a string quartet, which will combine musical magic with millennial history under the starry sky of the Burnum amphitheater.<\/p>\n

Admission is free for all visitors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Located in the northern part of Krka National Park, Burnum, a Roman military camp with the only preserved military amphitheater in Croatia, is an archaeological and cultural treasure of the Krka National Park. It was built in the 1st<\/sup> century, when the famous XI Legio Claudia pia fidelis<\/em>, and after it the IV Legio Flavia felix<\/em>, were stationed in this area. After being hidden underground for almost two thousand years, Burnum was “rediscovered” in 2003, when a new phase began of systematic archaeological investigation. Today, Burnum consists of the military camp, the amphitheater, a training ground (campus), Roman roads, and an archaeological collection in the Krka Eco Campus in Puljane, making this place one of the most important archaeological sites in the region.<\/p>\n

Krka National Park has been developing cultural tourism as an integral part of its sustainable development strategy for years. The aim of this approach is to protect the cultural and historical heritage and balance spatial and seasonal pressure on sites within the Park, and in particular to relieve the burden on the Skradinski buk waterfall and direct visitors towards lesser-known, but equally valuable upstream sites such as Burnum. In collaboration with the local community and professional institutions, the Park is constantly working on revitalizing traditional knowledge and skills, collecting cultural and historical material about the Krka River, restoring the museum heritage, and involving visitors in the experience of the cultural landscape. This is precisely why sites like Burnum are not only archaeological treasures, but also foundations for the sustainability of the cultural identity of this area.<\/p>\n

The Ides of Burnum <\/em>are not just an event \u2013 they represent a return to the past, to the time of ancient Rome, whose life comes alive in the present at a place where the natural features of the Krka River meet the ancient heritage. Experience the spirit of ancient Rome, participate in Roman customs, enjoy art under the stars, and be a part of living history.<\/p>\n
