U subotu, 25. sije\u010dnja 2025. godine Nacionalni park \u201eKrka\u201c sve\u010dano je obilje\u017eio \u010detiri desetlje\u0107a postojanja zavr\u0161nom konferencijom projekta Nepoznata Krka: skrivena blaga gornjeg i srednjeg toka rijeke Krke<\/em>. Doga\u0111anje je odr\u017eano u novootvorenom Centru za interpretaciju prirode Krka \u2013 vrelo \u017eivota u Kistanjama, koji je danas prvi put ugostio brojne uzvanike i posjetitelje.<\/p>\n

Konferenciji su prisustvovali ministrica za\u0161tite okoli\u0161a i zelene tranzicije Marija Vu\u010dkovi\u0107, izaslanica predsjednika Vlade Andreja Plenkovi\u0107a i predstavnici Sredi\u0161nje agencije za financiranje i ugovaranje programa i projekata EU (SAFU).<\/p>\n

\u201eU proteklom razdoblju u za\u0161ti\u0107enim podru\u010djima Republike Hrvatske iz Europskih fondova sufinancirano je dvadeset projekata s gotovo 100 milijuna eura. Projekt Nepoznata Krka<\/em> je poseban jer \u0161alje vi\u0161e va\u017enih poruka. Naime, radi se o unaprje\u0111enju prirodne i kulturne ba\u0161tine i izgradnji posjetiteljskog i interpretacijskog centra koji \u0107e privla\u010diti posjetitelje u manje poznata podru\u010dja nacionalnog parka. Projekt tako\u0111er doprinosi ciljevima odr\u017eivog razvoja i turizma te \u0107e zasigurno potaknuti socio-ekonomski razvoj<\/strong>\u201c, kazala je Marija Vu\u010dkovi\u0107, ministrica za\u0161tite okoli\u0161a i zelene tranzicije, i dodala: \u201eNacionalni parkovi mogu biti predvodnici u promoviranju odr\u017eiva razvoja i o\u010duvanja prirodne i kulturne ba\u0161tine. Mi se time ponosimo. Nacionalni park ‘Krka’ kao jedno od najprepoznatljivijih i najo\u010duvanijih za\u0161ti\u0107enih podru\u010dja uspio je o\u010duvati i unaprijediti prirodne vrijednosti i valorizirati kulturnopovijesnu ba\u0161tinu<\/strong>.\u201c<\/p>\n

Centar za interpretaciju prirode Krka \u2013 vrelo \u017eivota, koji je sve\u010dano otvoren upravo ovom prilikom, postao je sredi\u0161nja pristupna to\u010dka zapadnom dijelu Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c. Zahvaljuju\u0107i suvremenim multimedijalnim rje\u0161enjima i interaktivnim izlo\u017ebama, Centar na jedinstven na\u010din pribli\u017eava posjetiteljima va\u017enost o\u010duvanja vode kao resursa klju\u010dnog za \u017eivot na Zemlji.<\/p>\n

Na konferenciji je istaknuta vrijednost projekta Nepoznata Krka<\/em>, koji je sufinanciran sredstvima Europske unije iz Europskog fonda za regionalni razvoj. Ukupna vrijednost projekta iznosi 10.625.476,03 eura, od \u010dega je 8.786.275,54 eura financirano iz EU fondova.<\/u> Projekt je obuhvatio niz infrastrukturnih zahvata, ure\u0111enje pje\u0161a\u010dkih staza, elektrifikaciju brodskog prometa i razvoj novih edukativnih i prezentacijskih sadr\u017eaja, \u0161to je dodatno obogatilo ponudu Parka.<\/p>\n

\u201eUlaganje u projekte poput Nepoznate Krke<\/em> potvr\u0111uje na\u0161u predanost odr\u017eivosti i o\u010duvanju prirodne ba\u0161tine kao klju\u010dnim prioritetima za budu\u0107nost. U okviru Operativnog programa Konkurentnost i kohezija, kroz 173 projekta za\u0161tite okoli\u0161a i odr\u017eivosti resursa ugovorena su gotovo 563 milijuna eura, od \u010dega su 393 milijuna eura bespovratna sredstva, a od toga je na podru\u010dju \u0160ibensko-kninske \u017eupanije ugovoreno deset projekata s 24,5 milijuna eura bespovratnih sredstava. Te brojke nisu samo statistika, one predstavljaju stvarna, kontinuirana ulaganja u o\u010duvanje prirodnih bogatstava, razvoj zelenih inicijativa i stvaranje otpornijih, odr\u017eivih zajednica za budu\u0107e generacije<\/strong>\u201c, naglasio je Dragan Jeli\u0107, ravnatelj Sredi\u0161nje agencije za financiranje i ugovaranje programa i projekata EU.<\/p>\n

Interpretacijski centar Krka \u2013 vrelo \u017eivota, tematski podijeljen u nekoliko cjelina, od kojih svaka na svoj na\u010din interpretira temu vode i njezino zna\u010denje za \u017eivot, kroz interaktivne elemente i multimediju posjetiteljima prenosi pri\u010du o rijeci Krki, njezinoj povijesti, flori i fauni, i njezinoj ulozi u \u017eivotu lokalnog stanovni\u0161tva od prapovijesti do danas.<\/p>\n

\u201eZavr\u0161etak projekta Nepoznata Krka: skrivena blaga gornjeg i srednjeg toka rijeke Krke<\/em> ozna\u010dava prekretnicu u na\u0161im nastojanjima da Nacionalni park ‘Krka’ prika\u017eemo u njegovoj cjelovitosti. Uspostavom Centra za interpretaciju prirode Krka \u2013 vrelo \u017eivota u Kistanjama zaokru\u017eili smo pri\u010du o valorizaciji gornjeg i srednjeg toka rijeke Krke kroz inovativne interpretacijske sadr\u017eaje. Ovaj projekt nije samo infrastrukturno ulaganje, ve\u0107 i ulaganje u edukaciju, o\u010duvanje prirodnih vrijednosti i suradnju s lokalnom zajednicom. Istodobno, projekt doprinosi ravnomjernijem prostornom i vremenskom rasporedu posje\u0107ivanja u Parku, \u0161to je klju\u010dno za odr\u017eivo upravljanje na\u0161im resursima<\/strong>\u201c, istaknula je ravnateljica Javne ustanove \u201eNacionalni park Krka\u201c Nella Slavica i zaklju\u010dila: \u201ePosebno nas veseli \u010dinjenica da Centar u Kistanjama i Eko kampus ‘Krka’ u Puljanima povezuju ljude, povijest i prirodu na na\u010din koji oplemenjuje posjetiteljsko iskustvo, ali i poti\u010de lokalni gospodarski razvoj kroz nove prilike za zapo\u0161ljavanje i promociju lokalnih proizvoda. Ovo je primjer toga kako mo\u017eemo pomiriti o\u010duvanje prirode s razvojem ruralnih podru\u010dja<\/strong>.\u201c<\/p>\n

Prisutni su mogli u\u017eivati u obilasku novog Centra i upoznati se s bogatim prirodnim i kulturnim blagom gornjeg i srednjeg toka rijeke Krke. Doga\u0111anje je zaklju\u010deno nagla\u0161avanjem va\u017enosti daljnje suradnje s lokalnom zajednicom i promicanja odr\u017eiva razvoja koji doprinosi gospodarskom i demografskom rastu ovog kraja.<\/p>\n

Otvorenje Centra i zavr\u0161etak projekta Nepoznata Krka<\/em> obilje\u017eili su tako \u010detrdeseti ro\u0111endan Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c, koji nastavlja odu\u0161evljavati posjetitelje svojim prirodnim vrijednostima i edukativnim sadr\u017eajima, istovremeno \u010duvaju\u0107i ovaj jedinstveni krajobraz za budu\u0107e generacije.<\/p>\n

\nForty years of the Krka NP: the opening of the Interpretation Centre for the Krka \u2013 the Well of Life and the ending of the Unknown Krka project<\/strong>
\nOn Saturday, the 25th<\/sup> of January 2025, the Krka National Park celebrated four decades of existence with the final conference related to the project The Unknown Krka: Hidden Treasures of the Upper and Middle Courses of the Krka River<\/em>. This event was held at the newly opened Krka Nature Interpretation Centre \u2013 the Well of Life in Kistanje, and numerous guests and visitors were hosted for the first time today.<\/p>\n

The conference was attended by the Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition Marija Vu\u010dkovi\u0107, the envoy of Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovi\u0107, and representatives of the Central Agency for Finance and Contracting of EU Programmes and Projects (CAFC).<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the past period, twenty projects supported by almost 100 million euros have been co-financed from European funds in protected areas of the Republic of Croatia. The Unknown Krka<\/em> project is special because it sends several important messages. Namely, it is about improving the natural and cultural heritage and building a visitor and interpretation centre that will attract visitors to lesser-known areas of the national park. The project also contributes to the goals of sustainable development and tourism and will certainly stimulate socio-economic development<\/strong>\u201d, stated Marija Vu\u010dkovi\u0107, Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, who added: \u201cNational parks can be the leaders in promoting sustainable development and preserving the natural and cultural heritage. We are proud of that. The Krka National Park, as one of the most recognisable and best-preserved protected areas, has managed to preserve and enhance its natural features \u200b\u200band valorise the cultural and historical heritage.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

The Nature Interpretation Centre of the Krka \u2013 the Well of Life, which was officially opened on this occasion, has become the central access point to the western part of Krka National Park. Thanks to modern multimedia solutions and interactive exhibitions, the Centre in a unique manner introduces visitors to the importance of preserving water as a resource essential for life on Earth.<\/p>\n

The conference highlighted the value of the Unknown Krka<\/em> project, which was co-financed by funding from the European Union and the European Regional Development Fund. The total value of the project was 10,625,476.03 euros, of which 8,786,275.54 euros were financed from EU funds<\/u>. The project included a number of infrastructure projects, including the development of pedestrian paths, the electrification of boat traffic, and the development of new educational content and means of presentation, which has further enriched the Park’s offerings.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvesting in projects like the Unknown Krka confirms our commitment to sustainability and the preservation of the natural heritage as key priorities for the future. Under the Operational Programme of Competitiveness and Cohesion, almost EUR 563 million has been contracted through 173 projects for environmental protection and resource sustainability, of which EUR 393 million are grants, and of that, ten projects consisting of EUR 24.5 million in grants have been contracted in the \u0160ibenik-Knin County. <\/strong>These numbers are not just statistics, they represent real, continuous investments in preserving natural resources, developing green initiatives, and creating more resilient, sustainable communities for future generations.<\/strong>\u201d, was emphasised by Dragan Jeli\u0107, Director of the Central Agency for Financing and Contracting of EU Programmes and Projects.<\/p>\n

The Interpretation Centre of the Krka \u2013 the Well of Life, thematically divided into several units, each of which interprets the theme of water and its meaning for life in its own way, conveys to visitors the story of the Krka River, its history, flora, and fauna, and its role in the lives of the local population from prehistoric times to the present day through interactive elements and multimedia.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe completion of the project The Unknown Krka: the Hidden Treasures of the Upper and Middle Courses of the Krka River<\/em> marks a turning point in our efforts to present the Krka National Park in its entirety.<\/strong> By establishing the Nature Interpretation Centre of the Krka \u2013 the Well of Life in Kistanje, we have completed the story of the valorisation of the upper and middle reaches of the Krka River through innovative interpretive content. This project is not merely an investment in infrastructure, but also an investment in education, the preservation of natural features, and cooperation with the local community. At the same time, the project contributes to a more even spatial and temporal distribution of visits to the Park, which is crucial for the sustainable management of our resources<\/strong>\u201d, emphasised the director of the Krka National Park, Nella Slavica, and conluded: \u201cWe are particularly pleased that the Centre in Kistanje and the Krka Eco Campus\u00a0 in Puljane connect people, history, and nature in a way that enriches the visitor experience, but also stimulates local economic development through new employment opportunities and the promotion of local products. This is an example of how we can reconcile nature conservation with the development of rural areas.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

Those attending were able to enjoy a tour of the new Center and learn about the rich natural and cultural treasures of the upper and middle courses of the Krka River. The event concluded by emphasising the importance of further cooperation with the local community and the promotion of sustainable development that can contribute to the economic and demographic growth of this region.<\/p>\n

The opening of the Centre and the completion of the Unknown Krka<\/em> project marked the fortieth birthday of the Krka National Park, which continues to delight visitors with its natural features \u200b\u200band educational content, while preserving this unique landscape for future generations.<\/p>\n
