[hr]Volonterski program pod nazivom \u201e\u010cuvar stani\u0161ta autohtonih vrsta\u201c, pokrenut pro\u0161le godine, odvijao se od 2. do 11. rujna 2024. Ove godine okupio je entuzijaste, volontere i stru\u010dnjake, s ciljem suzbijanja pajasena, invazivne strane biljne vrste, i podizanja svijesti o va\u017enosti o\u010duvanja prirodne ba\u0161tine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Program je izazvao veliki interes me\u0111u volonterima. U njemu je sudjelovalo \u010detrnaest volontera i dvadeset zaposlenika Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c. Poziv za sudjelovanje bio je objavljen na slu\u017ebenim mre\u017enim stranicama Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c i na platformama posve\u0107enim volontiranju u sklopu Parkova Hrvatske.<\/p>\n

Za boravka u NP \u201eKrka\u201c volonteri su se aktivno uklju\u010dili u borbu protiv pajasena, biljke koja ozbiljno ugro\u017eava lokalne ekosustave. Njihove aktivnosti uklju\u010divale su edukativne radionice, demonstraciju metoda uklanjanja pajasena na terenu i prakti\u010dno uklanjanje izbojaka na razli\u010ditim lokacijama u Parku pod vodstvom voditeljice programa Katarine Bilu\u0161i\u0107.<\/p>\n

Volonteri su radili na podru\u010dju Skradinskog buka, Skradinske ceste, Skradina, Remeti\u0107a, Ro\u0161kog slapa i O\u0107estova, na kojima su uklonili tisu\u0107e izbojaka pajasena daju\u0107i znatan doprinos projektu \u201eLife Contra Ailanthus\u201c, a time i o\u010duvanju prirodne ba\u0161tine NP \u201eKrka\u201c.<\/p>\n

Zahvaljuju\u0107i njihovu anga\u017emanu i ste\u010denom znanju o invazivnim vrstama, projekt je znatno pomogao postizanju kona\u010dnog cilja: sprje\u010davanja daljnjeg \u0161irenja pajasena i pove\u0107anja svijesti o \u0161tetnom utjecaju invazivnih biljaka.<\/p>\n

Volonteri su imali priliku obi\u0107i Nacionalni park \u201eKrka\u201c kako bi se dodatno educirali o invazivnim vrstama i o na\u010dinu na koji Park funkcionira. Posjetili su i Dobrovoljno vatrogasno dru\u0161tvo Dubravice, upoznav\u0161i se s mjerama za\u0161tite od po\u017eara i na\u010dinom rada vatrogasnih slu\u017ebi.<\/p>\n

Program je proveden uz punu podr\u0161ku Nacionalnog parka \u201eKrka\u201c, koji je volonterima osigurao smje\u0161taj i prehranu u volonterskom centru u Eko kampusu \u201eKrka\u201c u Puljanima i lokalni prijevoz. Koordinatorice volonterskih aktivnosti Doris Bani\u0107 i Ivana Marin pobrinule su se da sve aktivnosti budu u skladu sa Zakonom o volonterstvu. Volonteri su pro\u0161li proces selekcije i obuke, a bili su i osigurani u slu\u010daju nezgode.<\/p>\n

Raduju\u0107i se budu\u0107im inicijativama usmjerenim na o\u010duvanje prirode i za\u0161titu autohtonih vrsta na svom podru\u010dju, Nacionalni park \u201eKrka\u201c izra\u017eava zahvalnost volonterima koji su sudjelovali u programu \u201e\u010cuvar stani\u0161ta autohtonih vrsta\u201c.<\/p>\n

\nThe volunteer program called “Guardians of native species habitats”, launched last year, took place from September 2 to 11, 2024. This year, it brought together enthusiasts, volunteers, and experts, with the aim of combating pajasen<\/em> or tree-of-heaven (Ailanthus altissima<\/em>), an invasive non-native plant species, and raising awareness about the importance of preserving the natural heritage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The program generated great interest among volunteers. Fourteen volunteers and twenty employees of the Krka National Park participated in it. The invitation to participate was published on the official website of the Krka National Park, and on platforms dedicated to volunteering within the Parks of Croatia.<\/p>\n

During their stay in the Krka National Park, the volunteers actively participated in the fight against ailanthus, a plant that seriously threatens the local ecosystems. Their activities included educational workshops, a demonstration of methods of removing ailanthus in the field, and the practical removal of shoots at different locations in the Park, under the leadership of program manager Katarina Bilu\u0161i\u0107.<\/p>\n

Volunteers worked in the area of the \u200b\u200bSkradinski buk waterfall, the Skradin road, Skradin, Remeti\u0107, the Ro\u0161ki slap waterfall, and O\u0107estovo, where they removed thousands of ailanthus shoots, making a significant contribution to the “Life Contra Ailanthus<\/em>” project, and thus to the preservation of the natural heritage of the Krka National Park.<\/p>\n

Thanks to their engagement and recently acquired knowledge about invasive species, the project significantly helped to achieve the final goal: preventing the further spread of ailanthus and increasing the awareness of the harmful impact of invasive plants.<\/p>\n

The volunteers had the opportunity to visit eleswhere in the Krka National Park in order to further educate themselves about invasive species and the way the Park functions. They also visited the Dubravice Voluntary Fire-Fighting Company, learning about fire protection measures and how the fire services work.<\/p>\n

The program was implemented with the full support of the Krka National Park, which provided the volunteers with accommodation and food in the volunteer center at the Krka Eco Campus in Puljane along with local transportation. The coordinators of volunteer activities, Doris Bani\u0107 and Ivana Marin, made sure that all activities were in accordance with the Law on Volunteering. Volunteers went through a selection and training process, and were insured in case of an accident.<\/p>\n

Looking forward to future initiatives aimed at preserving nature and protecting native species in its area, the Krka National Park would like to express its gratitude to the volunteers who participated in the program “Guardians of native species habitats”.<\/p>\n
