The importance of bats in nature is manifested in their biological control of the abundance of insects and the pollination and dispersal of plant seeds. The main reasons for their endangerment are the loss of habitat (due to excessive felling of old trees with hollows, the filling of caves, the arrangement of caves for tourist visits, the coating of wooden beams with protective chemicals that are toxic), the use of pesticides, the reduction in the number of insects, disturbance, the drying of wetlands and water pollution, etc.<\/p>\n<p>With the workshop \u201cLet\u2019s give more for bats\u201d, we try to correct some of the prejudices about them: that they drink blood, that they stick in peoples\u2019 hair, that they are blind \u2013 hence the saying \u201cBlind as a bat\u201d.
