{"id":225,"date":"2022-06-20T09:24:38","date_gmt":"2022-06-20T07:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.npkrka.hr\/?page_id=225"},"modified":"2022-09-30T10:58:45","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T08:58:45","slug":"roski-slap","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/npkrka.hr\/en_us\/prirodna-bastina\/slapovi\/roski-slap\/","title":{"rendered":"Ro\u0161ki slap waterfall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The sixth and next to last waterfall on the Krka River, 35.5 km distant from the source, owes its name to the hillfort of Rog. <\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"translation-block\">It is 25.5 m high, and 650 m long. It is recognisable for the tufa cascades at the beginning of the barriers, called \u201cthe Necklaces\u201d because of their beauty.<\/p>\r\n<p>Tufa forms found here include ridges, caves, sills, and cones, which represent a special feature. The tallest waterfall, at the end of the barriers, widens like a funnel, and noisily crashes into Visovac Lake.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The Ro\u0161ki slap falls have abundant vegetation. On the barriers, we can find mosses (Cinclidotus aquaticus, Rhynchostegium riparoides, Fontinalis antipyretica, Pellia endiviifolia), in shallow and peaceful water communities of low herbaceous plants, and in deeper waters, communities of reeds.
